Blimey they have dropped in price, must have nearly bottomed out now, surely they can't go much lower than that.
Yeah Mike all the sensible side of me says get a bmw gs or triumph tiger but the hooligan still says buy the honda SP2 world superbike replica :)
I miss the speed mate, the vito van gets my bike to the track ok but it's so slow of the line compared to the 182 it's unreal, takes three gears just to get up to 40 :S
Hi Mike, it's the older F model bike, the guy i bought it from race prepared it and did the no budget cup on it in 2009/10, it was the guy i learned to ride with and it just came up when i was passing my test so i thought why not, been hooked ever since.
Just starting to look into getting a road...
Yeah things are great mate but for now anyway i'm still way over on the dark side, i have a cbr600 racing bike and i spend all my free time dragging my knee's around the track at cadwell park,
Thinking of remortgaging the house to build a new home in the paddock there :), I'm going to do some...
Seriously Matt there are doctors who can help with this clio buying illness you have ;)
Looks good though mate, can't believe you all still have the clio's, just noticed Mike has a trophy and my old 182 of Chris's is looking decidedly good these days too :)
A lot of people don't realize that stainless steel welded too hot basically makes it not stainless steel any more so an amateur or inexperiences welder can think putting lots of weld onto a joint makes it stronger, wrong it just makes the bit of original pipe next to the weld a lot weaker and...
Looking really good Chris, i'm so chuffed you like it so much, let me know if you want a copy of the pics of it with the badges and bullets before i painted them so you can see what it looks like, i still have the showroom pics from when i bought it.
By the way i forgot to ask you before, is it...
I know how you feel Chris, ir rained for two weeks solid when i bought it and i was dying for some good weather to go for a decent drive out somewhere, as long as you're enjoying it though mate :)
Nothing at the moment Jim but when i get my business going the money from selling the clio will partially pay for the mercedes vito i will get, i would have kept the clio in a heartbeat if i had somewhere to keep it out of the way it but it would just be gathering dust no doubt, i'm sure Chris...
Lol Mike......any slower and i could drive miss daisy :), shame more didn't turn up that day or it could have been a classic meet/drive, still a good drive out though :)
Got to be honest though i was gutted when Chris drove it away earlier :(, at the same time i'm really pleased it went to...
I had a Yozza on my 182 for 8 months and when i took it off the system still looked brand new, as a result resale value was fantastic, almost what i paid for it but when i took it off i re fitted my older zorstec system and i actually thought it sounded a bit better than the yozza, just my...
Ha ha you've seen my driveway Chris, your clio wouldn't make it past the first inch of gradient :)
Can't help with the Yozza mate sorry but If you want the Zorstec at any time it's still for sale, half the price of the yozza and i'll fit it for free too :)
Oh and Matt, as for the V6, Gotta...
Cheers Mike but i dare not risk it so close to handing it over to Chris.
At least my clio will still to go to meets from next month even if i have no time anymore, like i said to Chris the other day though, if all goes well for me then i'll be back at the meets sometime in the future with a V6...
Soak it in penetrating oil or WD40 for a day Matt then hit it straight down with a hammer to crack the rust in there before you undo it , it will then just undo nice and easy, this method works for 100 year old boiler nuts so it should be fine for the clio too :) might even just come out with a...
Lol, Black/Gold shed you say Matt?........no idea what that could be :o
I'll have to see about the whitby thing mate, i might put you all to shame with the power of the mercedes vito i'll probably be rolling in by then :)
Nice turnout and good pics too, shame i couldn't make it but needs must i'm afraid, besides you know i always prefer the driving meets and as i'm on a diet going to Nando's would be a bad idea for me :)
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Hello guys, Just trying to get an idea of a price my 182 might fetch when i sell it soon,
-BG 182
-both cup packs (i think, never been 100% sure of what they are and they weren't advertised when i bought it)
-54 plate
-41,000 miles
-belts done 7k miles ago...
Hello Mike, yeah i think a whitby run would be the one i would make an effort for more than any other but that's assuming i don't have to sell my pride and joy to fund the transit van, tagging along in that just would not be cool :o
As for the business, it will be more industrial scale coded...
Car look mint Matt, on a par with the RB now i would say, pics look good too :)
everything ok with the Yozza after we did that chop job on the bracket ?
Sorry Lads, feel like i'm letting the side down a bit after the epic runs we arranged and went on last year, starting a business takes up so much time in research and paperwork that the car has just taken a back seat at the moment .
