What's my opinion? It's too humid for jeans, I should have worn shorts.
What to do next? I'm going to get a Maxibon out of the freezer.
Thanks for asking.
Had new springs, shocks, discs and pads fitted at the front. STILL not got the air con fixed though.
Next up (aside from the air con) will be getting the misfire and clutch fixed.
I've been meaning to ask for a couple of weeks now. My 182 hasn't got the spoiler pack (tiny rear spoiler, no front splitter), so it can't claim to be Full Fat. So what is it? Medium Fat? Or is there another designation for it?
NOTE - I'm not asking what the differences are between cup and...

Had the windscreen replaced due to a chip which was too large to repair. Received my new brake discs and pads courtesy of @George@RTR_Parts .
Hopefully tomorrow the suspension kits will be arriving from Renault Parts Direct but seeing as they haven't shipped yet I'm not too optimistic.
Yeah, I've just ordered from them. Sending the other stuff back. Gawd knows what I was thinking.
I'm going to look REALLY STUPID when I ask but on the Renault Parts Direct site where the parts say **CUP MODEL** that means it's fine for FF Clio's, right? Not that it's strictly just for Cup models?
I've no idea what EuroParts have sent me but the Sachs shock absorber box says "Clio 98" on it. Am I right in thinking that non-Trophy Sachs dampers are shite anyway? I'm beginning to think I should just get the OEM Cup shocks and send the Sachs ones back. Oh I don't know.
The Sachs springs are...
I'm 38 and just bought my second 182. I just love them, just great fun and really nicely equipped.
Had a couple of zoons trying to goad me into racing but I just ignore them. Piss off, boy, I'm listening to Smashing Pumpkins in here.
OK I've ordered the HC Brembo discs. The grooved/ drilled ones look like they're really more of a track-day thing, am I right?
Whatever the case I'm looking forward to driving a car that doesn't squeak like a baby bird all the time.
I've gone for the Sachs springs and shocks. The reason I didn't want any lowering was because I've got a sharp incline on the drive and if it's any lower it'll start scraping the barnacles off the bottom of the car.
Only slight concern is whether the Sachs springs will be Cup or non-Cup height...
Had an oil change and a new air filter, and had the mechanic give it a look over to see if it needed owt else doing. Apparently it's in very good nick except the front suspension and brake pads.
The joys of car ownership.
Just been to the garage and the mechanic did a quick once over and spotted that I need new springs and shock absorbers at the front. What should I be buying and where from? Not particularly interested in lowering springs.
Cheers
I went mad with the technical work today and replaced all 3 wipers.
Also had AutoGlass out to fix a chip in the windscreen but they decided it was too big to repair and scheduled me for a new windscreen next week.
