Hi All
The time has finally come to get the cambelts changed on my 182 Clio Sport and I've been quoted near £900 by a local Renault dealership. Ouch.
Does anyone know of any good garages in Watford / Rickmansworth / somewhere near those places that will do it for cheaper? Looking for a good...

I did a search through the forum and could find nothing, so apologies if this has been asked before but what are the part numbers for disks and brake pads for a 182 clio - fronts only.
Having a few stopping issues and feel I should get them done sooner rather than later...

Coolies, I shall have a good look under the car tonight and see if there's anything I can do or replace.
Read a few threads about the heat shield vibrations - I may have to become a member just to read the thread you linked to...
Thanks for the info

My 182's got a small problem - when you start it up from cold and pull away there's a rattling coming from the back of the car; sounds like something's lose in the exhaust. Also happens between 2000-4000rpm. Seems to die down a little when it gets hot but it's still there. Grrrr...
Nice, sounds like she learned not to put crap tyres on.
Think I've made a choice then - Camskill are doing 2 tyres delivered for £130 :) Will probly buy 4 instead as I'm running budgets on the front (Nexen 6000 I think).
Chars for the advice btw, muchas gracias amigo's.

Aloha all

I'm currently thinking about fitting Toyo's to the...
Kind of a toughie. Test drive a Z first - you'll find the rear wheel drive (with that much power) totally different. It has more creature comforts and is quicker too, but you'll need a lot of money to keep up with it - around £50-£60 per tank of fuel (about 300 miles).
If you're curious...
The scuff is only really surface-based, not deep at all.
Thing with owning a Z is much as they are awesome in every way they are also expensive in every way...just spent £400 getting it taxed and £750 on 4 new tyres (which go every 10k miles) so I thought nuts to it, trade it in while it's...
Thought I'd best introduce myself after a little bit of lurking...
Just sold my Nissan 350Z (sniff) and bought a Clio 182 with all the cup stuff on it in artic blue. It drives very nicely, love the way that when you get to about 5000 revs the front end seems to unsettle slightly as you really...
