JP is as nice as pie lads, the guy has made a career on being his own one man show and whether people like it or not is exactly whats made him successful.
Hopefully I'll be going to World Series in Austria, Hungary and France next year. Not sure yet but will be good to see how different they are to Silverstone.
100DB limit was the level in the race. But people were around 102/103 during thursday test? Probably due to it being overnight and the neighbours pretty much.
We knew the Chevron would fall to pieces, poor thing needs some money putting into it before it could be classed as usable again.
A friend I go to college with was approached on a test at Snett back in July by some guys running a radical in the next garage saying they were looking for couple of students to help them at Britcar 24hr. So I got the guys number and gave him a buzz, turned out he knew my current boss at my...
They all snapped on the way in or way out of the pit lane?
Utter joke considering many track days populated by road cars are at 105db. To have a high spec 24hr race and have it that low is beyond it.
There was one time it just wouldn't get going, getting closer and closer to the end of the...
Absolute f**king nightmare if Im honest. Nightmare being the key word. We were running first in class and flicking between 4th/5th overall between the Aston's stops. Start of the race went really well. Then we had a black flag for noise around 11pm, had to put another box on the exhaust so about...
Hi Matt, the civic was really tidy! I was working on the No.52 Chevron GR8, vent and rear left on stops. I've only got iPhone pics so not much point in posting. Where did you lads finish?
Did you have any problems with the hideous noise limit too?
Fairly sure one I saw on the M6 the other day had that spoiler, white 325 or something. Looked subtle enough for general folk not to notice but out there enough to be a nice detailed edition. I would anyways, congrats on the new car :)
I went from a 1.2 to a DCi100, had it 18 months and done 20k in it now. Nothings really gone wrong with it, can't fault it tbh. Depends what you want it for really. Mine does 4/500 miles a week easily on 55/60mpg.
If you didn't have a plane it was like 25 minute drive to the other side of the map >_<
Vice City was the best one going. Although I did feel a bit sad when I went back to play it this year and noticed how actually awful the visuals actually are!
GTA IV IMO was alright but missing all the...
Can only echo what Naith as said really. Great day out, very nice to meet the Burpspeed gang and that chocolate cake was amazing!
Will definatly try and get down to another race earlier next year and look forward to reading up on any changes on the car over winter.
Hi Chris :)
Is it not better to run some form of support rods to the lip of the front splitter to reduce vibration and thus increase efficiency? Is the thickness of the material or the depth a factor in that decision? Just curious.
Cheers
There not powdercoated in that pic, they are now!
But Tim, I can assure you I've cleaned them atleast twice as much as you cleaned your wheels on the 172 already! :D
The thing is I haven't actually got any :o
Except this one;
Missing xenons and grille there though. Just need to sort driveshaft and all the stance and s**t out and it'll be pretty cool. Just never bother to wash it as it gets parked on one of those s**tty stone car parks full of mucky...
My class time is all on the Myerscough campus just above the M55 north of Preston but will be at the library when I can for resources and stuff.
I'll have to have a good look next time I go for those ones lads cheers ^ ended up paying £3 over the road from blockbuster and grounded out the front...
