I bought a 106 GTI a fair while ago and loved it so much it turned into a trackcar although it did have some bilstein b8's dampers and different springs though at that time. Could not tell you what its like standard! The cars are cheaper, second hand parts are cheaper, you wont care about it...

It's not a hard job to change the alternator, hardest part for me was getting the new belt on. Do the aux kit while your at it!

Undo the 4 bolts at the back holding the steering column on instead of the pinch bolt and let it hang - I found this easier to do than undoing the pinch bolt!

Must be something wrong with it then as it doesnt display anything on the screen? lights up fine and beeps when pressing any button but no display :(

Hi all, Went to put the standard headunit back in, this is an 05 182 Clio and I think im missing a cable? Is something meant to fit to the yellow cable? If so where does this cable come from? Thanks Tom

Watching this video has me realise just how much better track days are on the ring. Next year i'll be back on with DN Events as majority were good drivers, barely any traffic and track closures were minimal! Getting stuck in traffic on the ring is so boring, it only worth going TF on afternoon...

Agreed, it looks cheap. Black breaks it up. Same with 2.0 litre bullets, they should be left alone IMO

Yeah it not something you can miss IMO, it was pretty worrying as we waiting all year for it, and it can be killed so fast. We were very lucky though! Was on a trackday so unlimited laps but doing that on a tourist day is over £900

Make sure you get to the next one, was awesome! Dont think I saw the FD2 but I saw a 350z on the trackday, so could be him. 600 miles ;) Yeah you have to take it easy, but its not worth missing out on!

Watched alot of this last night, was good, so much going on all the time. Also the flashing lights are the faster moving cars to warn them from what I gather.

Picked up this 1996 BMW 730i today from a freind, what a lazy drive it is! Has not been driven much in the last 7 years. Has 73k on the clock and I cant reference it with any others on PH/Autotrader as none are as low mileage and in good condition. Fresh MOT with no advisories and tax Anyway...

100% get some semi slick, huge difference.

Completely different animal with the suspension IMO, its boaty on the standard suspension. It feels you with alot confidence. No good on down a country lane, but good on backroads and track. Will be moving over to coilovers at some point as its literally for track:)
