Yip, mine pisses it's pants every now and then.
Maybe it doesn't like being left alone in the dark at night.
It's most likely the headlamp washers, though only one of mine leaks.

Hi all,
After a search on my cars history to see if I need the aux' belt changed, I have found that the previous owner ONLY changed the belt and nothing else. I have a March 2006 182, currently 48k on the clock, this belt was changed at 32k/3yr mark.
I'm I still safe with this or was it...
Thanks NWPerformance, shame I'm not local!
Do you know the part number for that bushing? I have a friend who is very hand with Cliosports and could fit it for me.
Thanks again
Colin
Hi all,
Just picked the car up from the stealers after getting my new outer window seal and shocks replaced. This noise only happens when I turn left and low and very slow speeds. There is a receipt in the service history for a right suspension arm. Could this be the problem; it's gone again...
Hi all,
Over the last few days I have been getting a creaking noise from the front of the car. Generally only on full lock, and turning from full lock. Sounds like creaking floorboards - best I can describe it.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Colin
Hi all,
Can any tell me which belt this part number is for:
8200020924
Curiousity has me checking the service history of my 182, and according to two dealers who have worked on the car, no belts have been changed. However, there is a receipt from a Renaults parts department for a few...
Absolutely Needster. Finance isn't a bad thing as long as you consider all outgoings and the long term outlook. My debt has had a pretty awful impact on my personal life even though I was managing it okay.
It's a personal loan we have from the Halifax, I cleared all HP I had with this loan. I knew fine and well how long it's gonna take to clear this off, but it's working well for us.
Gally, the swap from the Fiesta to the Clio cost me a very small bit of cash plus the Fiesta itself. Me and my finacee have a loan together (90%) of it is mine though, and in that I settled my Ford account with that money. If that makes sense.
Interesting thread.
I have a total of £21500 of debt but it's being well managed at the minute. Will take me 5-6 years to clear it all, but I'm renting a nice flat and getting by at the minute, so it's not all bad.
There is nothing I can do but keeping paying it off and not adding to it.
Camera is a Canon 30D and a couple of different lens, 50mm f1.8, 70-200 f4 L, EF-S 10-22
Rear bumper strip was like that when I bought it, any idea of the cost of a standard black plastic replacement?
Hi all,
Finally got round to taking a few photos today.
It's an 06 182 in stunning liquid yellow. 43k on the clock, FRSH, both cup packs, k-tech cat-back exhaust and Brembo Max front discs.
Really loving it so far, feels quicker than the Focus ST i had before because it's so light...
So, your 'beef' is with human beings rather than the car?
Cars break man, some more than others, but sometimes you just can't get away from plebs.
It's time to trim the herd. Starting with this 'specialist'
Hi all,
Picked up my 182 last night, loving it so far.
The exhaust/engine light is on, is this due to it having an aftermarket exhaust fitted? It's a K-tec system.
Thanks

Picking up my 182 tonight, but on the test drive, the numbering on the top of the knob was badly worn.
Can anyone recommend a good aftermarket gear knob? Don't want anything tall, as small as possible please.
Cheers
Colin
Yeah, will think about that. Splitter is £130 though!
Can anyone tell me when the last 182 was built? This one is March 2006.... Would be interesting to hear if it was one of the last ones.
Aux belt has been done. Cam belt is due next year and he has quoted me at £300 to get it done at his dealership (cost price). I've told him he better stick to that, and he has marked that down on the cars history.
Previous owner changed the oil every 4000 miles, guy was a mechanic and it was...
Yeah, I know I have paid over the odds.
Getting a car from the UK would have cost me, what with the trade in and the ferry/fuel costs.
Lets just hope it turns out to be a reliable example.
Well, I have gone about bought it. Checked out the cars history as much as I could, and it seems like a genuine, straight car.
People will think I'm mad paying what I just have, but I'm happy. So I guess that's all that counts.
