Yeah, the first level in 2 makes you think it’s more of that same, but with a difficultly spike. And then, boom, enemies who can shoot you through walls.
Still enjoying it though, about 3/4 of the way through 2.
Anyone still playing?
Finished the Opera House TR2 level last night and it’s bloody hard. I was convinced I completed the game as a kid, but after this, I’m pretty sure I must have just used the skip level cheats and just played the opening area.
Loving it though. 25+ years old and having way...
Series X mate.
I love it, but loved the originals. If you didn’t like the originals and expect it to play like a modern game…you won’t like it. At all.
So close to being perfect.
Save system is a mess, and no level select is odd. I swear you could select levels on the original.
Otherwise, it’s brilliant, so well done. Not bothered with the modern controls, muscle memory from 25 years ago is still there 😂
Picked this up for nostalgia feels. Not left the house yet, but it’s done incredibly well.
It’s funny though, the remaster graphics are what Tomb Raider looked like in my head, until you then switch to the originals.
Can’t wait to lock the butler in the freezer.
There once was a commie called Rich
Who used GPT for his scripts
But AI took his job
LLM’s made him sob
So he turned to mushrooms for a fix.
AI ain’t replacing me yet.
I won’t say who I work for, but we’re doing some really cool stuff with Gen AI and the market response has been overwhelmingly positive.
Most customers aren’t mature enough to see the true benefits yet though. Gen AI is essentially the consolidation of data, so really most people need to make...
It’s in the calendar, been 10 years since the last one I went to!
Will likely camp, speaking to others who went last year it seems a bit of faff getting taxis right?
It’s the way he laughs. It’s almost like laughing backwards.
Unfortunately, for now it only looks like it’s only the him that will have access to drive the prototypes, so will likely have to wait for customer car deliveries before Harris/Catchpole get to put a film out.
Enjoyed this - I don’t listen to R1 but he’s a really down to earth bloke.

Car is absolutely sensational. I have no interest in the latest supercars, but this is just glorious.
I live a few miles from GMA and saw one on the road recently, had to double take.
Away from home at the weekend so can’t 100% check mate, but deadzones set about 4-100 for steering and 0-100 for throttle/brakes.
Anyone playing on controller needs to do this.
The most annoying thing about grinding is that if you buy the same car, you need to grind again!
It’s frustrating as they’ve nailed the physics for me on a pad, especially with the deadzones altered
I had a quick blast of MP the other day, Civic race cars around Laguna Seca.
Driving standard/racing etiquette was brilliant. Not played any online game in years!
It feels very unfinished. Shame really, as when it’s done right (blasting around Maple Valley in the fog last night) it’s brilliant.
But the graphical glitches (wet tracks sometimes flash like strobe lighting for me), crashing and dreadful AI is frustrating.
I’ll still play it, but glad it’s...
