Ah you were the black 182 that watched me ground my splitter trying to park for the pub? Haha.
Car looked very clean mate, cheeky little pop as you pulled away too.
I've seen this a few times outside work at Maplin at Cribbs. Black with yellow spoiler, fog surrounds, diamond, bullets etc.
I'm in the Monaco that's parked outside Maplin most days
Welcome :) Very nice cup! As far as I've seen all RS's have lumpy idles, but easiest fix is usually plugs, only one set works well iirc.
Plans sound good too :)
Thanks all, Found the previous owner! It was Fast Adies car on here! the guy who sells the HD track cameras.
Here are some proper pics I've taken of her,
oh hai there familiar. :) Yeah It's a totally new car to me, never had one before, so gonna go mental with it :)
Cheers mate, bit rough around the edges but it was dirt cheap
Thanks man, Will upload more pics on Monday when I get it back to my parents house, It's sat in Bolton at the mo.
Haha, It's a gorgeous colour. It's gotta be boosted, N/A high comp is fun but not as fun as boost ;)
Hey all,
From a background of sax's I've grown up and seen the light,
It has a CS sticker in the back window, anyone know who used to own it?
So far It's got what looks like a Ktec Stealth system, Panel filter, and there's some rolling road print outs too..
My plans include:
Whiteline...
Yeah they're the things that cause emissions problems, If you decat a car, it fails on emissions.
And Lambda sensor will be sensing wrong and sending wrong signals = bad emission reading
I couldn't tell you prices really I'm a saxo man, the Mrs has a clio.. But Lambda's are usually cheaper than cats, Sadly they're the most expensive sensor on most cars though :(
Both conditions don't always apply, The cat collapsed on my saxo, and failed badly, Didn't smell in the slightest, Just rattled sometimes, then boom gone...
And lambda sensor won't always cause lumpy running, May rev slightly different sometimes though.
Lambda would be cheapest fix first
It is turning over by the way, Just not firing, Starter motor sounds totally fine.
It fired up again, Kicked out a lot of black smoke and then got 1/2 mile and went again.
Could this be a Crank sensor or CTS problem?
Hey guys,
My girlfriend has just purchased a '99 1,4 RT.. It's only on 64k, and has had belts done etc.
This morning it completely conked out on her and refused to start, Hitting the fuel reset button has got it going, then it just randomly cuts out while driving and refuses to start...
Hi guys, thought I'd pop in and say hi,
Moving into a Clio within the next few weeks from Saxo.. Which someone nicely pulled out into...
Had taken me a year to build and was gutted, Had Sparco buckets, coilovers, Full 10 point cage and everything :(
Oh well, On with the future, I am...
