Sorry for being persistent but want to be sure cos these turbos are expensive... Plugged the car into VW garage laptop and no faults codes present. Wouldn't this bring up a fault code if the turbo was damaged?

It stalls at idle why would turbo cause that?

Couldn't over fueling cause the smoke? It plumes at idle and obviously turbo isn't active until 2kish reva

I'm guessing you haven't really used torrents before? It's not as dodgy as you think. Just a bit of common sense on which torrent you choose e.g lots of seeders and verified/VIP status of person posting the torrent

Go for a drive and just swerve left and right see if you can make it loose and drop down. ​Haha, I'd advise against doing it anywhere busy/public.

Do the service yourself and buy some second hand shocks and a drive shaft off here and you'll cut £200 odd off that bill.

Welcome :) you can change the washer jets to Citroen ones which are miles better and cheap. (Front not back)
