    Clio mk1 backbox fitting

    Just bought a backbox for my clio mk1 but its just the box, When fitting it i noticed the original backbox has a piece of pipe attached that bends round before connecting to the centre pipe, it was rusted and blown badly (and about to fall off and my cat would hit the floor!!) but to replace it...

    Hi, i am looking to buy a backbox and was just wondering... What characteristics of the backbox give it its sound (idle note and volume) such as the size of the box / shape / tailpipe width. Just so i dont buy one that sounds ****! Thanks Andyblack19
