My old car,was MINT when i sold it,good to see its still being looked after.Might pop along to the next Yorks meet in my 205gti rallycar(build in progress)
Deffinatly mate, makes the car awesome you will be grinning like a Cheshire cat and hunting mk2 FRS's lol.Remote box is worth getting incase the ecu gets wiped while in at Renault so you have the map stored(also works as a fault code reader)
Nice car you will absolutly love it,deffinatly get the remap.I paid £500 for stg1 and remote box from a group buy on meganesport.net and its well worth it:cool:
On a very tight twisty road a 182/trophy would match a R26(only cos of size/chuckability),anywhere else the R26 would run rings around it.R26 is well known for being one of if not THE best FWD cars/hot hatches ever.:D
I had a 182 full fat and traded up to an R26 and its one of the best decisions i made, dont get me wrong the 182 was awesome but the R26 is just so much better, handling is amazing with the lsd and obviously its a much faster car(mine now stg1 RS tuning 265bhp/291lbft with Forge...
The new RS does sound good,i drove one at weekend and they are a very good car.Was expecting it to be a bit faster than my Stg1 R26 but it wasnt and the handling wasnt as sharp but all in all i was impressed.Would consider a remapped one next.
Bit of a treck but i have just traded in my racing blue clio 182 with cup packs at Lookers Volkswagen Blackburn with nearly 44kmiles on and is mint for £5k and is just being sent to auction, might be worth giving them a ring
Always marshall on Road Rallies unless you know a crew who can give you some speccie info:) ,but got to put something back into the sport before i start competing:D
Mark Solloway in POO504R mk2 escort (BDG engine)-Cant beat that noise:cool:
