Smack it at the top with a screwdriver or a punch and it will flip the bottom bit out, Failing that, screwdriver through the middle and pry it out.
If your doing a cambelt and got stuck at that bit I'd leave it alone tbh.

I take it you have tried removing the spacer from the hub, then removing the snapped bolt? If theres tension on the snapped bolt because its pressing against the hub then you'll never get it off. If its not damaged the thread then it might wind out...
I rememeber this car, Previous owner was a bit of a knob.. went crazy when I pointed out that the 8.8 grade rear shocker bolt wasnt right.
Might be worth checking that its been changed?

When they say holding pressure i assume they just mean its not leaking? Most places just whip the hoses off after they've gassed the aircon but If you leave the machine on it'll give you the pressure readings from the high pressure and low pressure sides. Ideally you need to get it back on the...
Mayo under the cap is normal on a 1.2, They all have it. Not a sure fire sign of HG.
As for the coolant dropping, if you let it go too low and air gets in the system then its normal for the level to drop again after you top up, as all the air comes to the top. Take it for a good drive then fill...
Nah im on T7 heater mate so heater pipes were no issue, the only other issue on a Ph1 is the Squib is slightly different, doesnt quite fit onto the EPAS column properley, Just had to grind a little notch to make it fit 100%
Yea sounds about right actually, I tried to get some motor factor ones a few months back BUT they refused to sell them as apparantly they always send the wrong ones. That was Andrew Page tho, maybe GSF would be a bit more helpfull.
Dunno if the different tie rods are because there are SMI racks and TRW racks? Most are SMI as is the one I gave you.
Cant you just give them my Reg so they can get you the right ones?
