I'm not too clued up on where to look etc, wouldn't even know where the starter motor is! Will try and ask a friend to have a look...if not will have to book it into the garage arghh :(

No, I usually put it in neutral and push it forward and back then jump back in stick it in gear and try to bump it. I don't usually have enough room, I fail bumping it but then it will just start without any clicking!

It's a 2004 Clio 1.4 16v. It doesn't seem to do it when the heating is off as I start the car. When I move the car back and forth I can then start it again. (Not bump starting). Just kind of need to know what/where to be looking! Thanks for your help, Rick!

I've been having some problems lately starting my car. Sometimes it starts straight away but I've noticed if I've left the heating on I try starting it, then there's a click and the battery symbol disappears. The red light (immobiliser?) stays on. Then if I move the car forward and back it...

Does the LCD screen actually work as a screen displaying what I'm shooting? It just has lots of numbers etc on there at the mo!!

Merry Christmas firstly! I have bought a Nikon D60 with an 18-55mm lens, case rechargeable battery, charger, 8GB memory card and carry case for £150 off a friend. It is in fantastic condition, used once or twice. Can anyone recommend anything to buy for it? Thanks, Rick.

Rear engine mount had snapped and done a fair bit of damage to the exhaust and the mounts. Couple of hundred quid unfortunately :(

I brought it home but is going to the garage in the morning so have avoided driving it any further!

No not really, when I stop the car, the gearbox seems fine but it's when I'm driving. I hate my clio!! :mad:

Yeah this is coming way further back than usual. So I'm looking at a coil and engine mount. Any rough costs guys or?

Would that also explain why I put my foot down in first and the gear stick comes way further back than it should? It sounds stupid!!

Yeah it is down on power but I cant drive in 2nd or 4th to be honest. Just 1st 3rd and 5th. It feels as if a mount has gone. If it's the engine mount how much am I looking at?

Was driving along tonight with my girlfriend in the car, started to accelerate and heard a loud bang. Then the car sounded like a tractor and if I drive in first gear the gear stick comes really far back when I put my foot down. Any suggestions? I am absolutely gutted. Cant wait to chop it...
