i have been down this route with previous cars the money spent to get a few extra hp is not worth i spend the money on better brakes and suspension if anything to improve the handling and make the car more usable

replacing a panel filter will not give you any noise increase if thats what you are after you need an open cone filter kit

I have done te same thing i do every year, not took many pictures so can everyone add their ph1 172 pics in this thread please would be good to see them all together

they seem to be rated pretty well but everyone has there own opinions most people will say on here to fit a panel filter and improve the airflow into the box

do a search and have a look at the different options out there. An induction kit is never going to make loads of difference but i have just fitted the hillpower kit to mine and have to say am very pleased, although i did have an open cone before!

i picked up a hillpower kit at fcs today for £50 put it on while i was there and am very impressed with the noise and performance, although i did have an open kn before!
