pics taken tonight after visit to Mark Fish. Taken by the misses, although we could find her tripod so pics are a bit grainey.
Cup dampers and H&R 30/30 springs fitted
And a couple of the blue LED's
No probs.
personally mate I would say do do it yet then. A good seat, proper fitting and properly mounted harnesses will save ure life when a normal seatbelt won't.
Incorrectly fitted seat and harnesses can severely compress and damage ure spine.
No idea if they will fit or not. Not sure if companies use standard side mount positions.
One piece of advice I can give you though is don't rush and buy seats just cos you can afford them now. I spent ages deciding on my old cobras. Every car, especially clios I saw with the monacos in I...
Lol if I had the money to buy one from new I would have had the cup pack, but I don't think it makes it a better car in all areas. I just don't see why people look down on those without it. If anything the non cup car is far better for uk roads.
I am however a Motorsport freak and I like my...
to be honest, if someone told me that buying a car without ABS is rediculous, i would no longer value their judgement on buying a car, as they clearly dont understand driving in its purist forms.
apart from anything else, not having ABS can only serve to make you a better driver and better...
the car should have an RS badge between the bonnet and the black bit of bumber mate.
if not u can get them from the parts office at motorline. but i think they are about 35 quid.
to be honest i might be taking mine off... i dont like the new style RS badges
probably buckled the alloy.
take it to local tyre place tomorrow and get them to spin it up. they will be able to tell u if its the wheel straight away
lol so dont take them at 25. most of them are there for a reason, granted some are pointless.
But whats the point in taking them at any speed by trying to line up a wheel either side. you always run the wheels over them slightly and all it does is put pressure on your geometry components...
my thoughts exactly. which is why i am holding off the speedlines. i have looked at the ultralegeras as i had these on the 172, but they dont really suit the racing blue. It needs a light bold wheel to contrast the bright car
its not so much a case of is it too much.... its more a case of are you going to push it hard enough to make use of it. in theory you are going to lose rear end grip below the threshold where the car leans enough to make use of the extra angle
depends what type of seats you want, what quality and what your budget is mate
Do a search on my username and i think there are some pics of when we fitted my Cobra's.
For those we have a low profile sliding subframe, and side mounts. They were ok, but im tall so could have done with having...
Well here we go!
After my love affair with the track spec 172 which became one of the flagship cars on this forum a few years ago, i spent a few years pootling around in sensible cars. Notibly Toyotas! I went through an Aygo, and an Auris, both brand new, and then an 08 plate yaris SR. I have...
Cool. It looked a real nice specimen.
we shall have to meet up. Also be worth u having a look at clio200.net
not as busy as cs, but it's totally focused on 197 and 200's
Is this the red one that Motorline at Parkwood (Car City) have? i saw that the other day when i was in with my 200.
Try and deal with Marcus Weeks there if it is... top notch guy. Couldnt be more helpful.
on another note, i love the fact that the "Cup Crew" look down and snigger on non cup...
driving normally, by which i mean at the speed limits with burst of throttle here and there i get about 26/27 in my 200.
driving like a granny, and paying attention the the rev counter and making sure in optimum gear i can get about 34 - but its very hard to maintain and i wouldnt say the engine...
