    Herts / Essex Newbie

Evening sailor! Need to catch up soon, I want to compare your 172 Cup to my 200 Cup.

182 Cup; blue with stripes. Walken Road this morning.

    As per title.

    hertford

My idea of a meet probably differs from other's. I don't personally see the point in standing around in a cold car park looking at French clutter. If a trackday or food/drink are involved, I'll be a little more receptive ;)

    hertford

I'm from Hertford. I have a blue 200 Cup. Meet wise, I could think of nothing worst than standing around in the Gascoyne Way multistory car park lol

Anyone know 182 Cup 'BV04 K*F' Racing blue

Is the seller based in Birmingham and does it have black wheels? Edit, 99% sure it is. Worth registering and reading these two threads... http://civictype-r.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=224176&hilit=racing+blue&start=60 http://civictype-r.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=129&t=224964 Long...

Increasingly finding myself growing bored of the Clio..

I actually laughed out loud at this. The 182 has a dreadful interior compared to a DC5. By the way, noticed you location was Hertford. Were you parked in Hartham gym car park this evening? Noticed a black 182 parked two spaces in front of me.

Increasingly finding myself growing bored of the Clio..

The DC5 is a great car and much better than a 182 in my opinion. Engine and gearbox are superb, interior is a nicer place to be etc. Insurance is a little steep though. A slightly more diluted driving experience compared to the DC2 but as a road car, better.

    Can't decide on colour for a 200

I'm really happy with my Racing Blue. If it hadn't of been the free colour, I still would have specified it.

how old are you and what you driving?

27 Clio 200 Cup (& Integra Type R track car)

Just my humble opinion..... 200 content..

It barely registers on my 'care' radar. Back in 2002 when I was 19, Renault offered free insurance to drivers aged 19+ and all of a sudden there was an explosion of Clios on the road. I was one such driver in a sea of black 1.2 Dynamiques. Did I care then? No. Do I care now with my 200 Cup...

When did you get your first RS and what age?

I don't disagree, I had a Civic Type R @ 21, Focus ST @ 23, Impreza STI PPP @ 24. Now sold them for a house deposit and starting from scratch with a Clio 200. I perhaps think looking back now I should have not wasted money on fast cars, numerous trackdays, several Nurburgring season tickets...

What are you comparing this to? I found the gearbox mediocre and seating position quite high.

    Advertising the car...

I'm tight so advertised my previous cars where it was free; PistonHeads and the relevent owner's forum. Civic Type R sold to the second viewer (first was a test pilot who I told to leave) via the owner's forum. Impreza sold via PistonHeads to the first viewer although had a lot of time wasters...

    corsa vxr v clio 200

For those of us who don't want to modify their car, there's little difference in straightline performance you'll find on the road. The VXR, being more torqey will feel the quicker car though. Vauxhall's lifetime warranty is also very appealing for the potential owner. Laps times and...

    New Car (200 deals)

So I'm mental for not specifying Speedlines and spoiler on a car I'll keep for two years? I'd rather spend my £400-600 elsewhere.

    New Car (200 deals)

Not the deal I got with Lookers. I got mine for £695 deposit and 24x £199, no other fees. My total will be £5471 over two years.

    New Car (200 deals)

You can add as much as you like on the car. Either pay for them up front with a big deposit to save on interest and retain the £199 per month or add the options to the finance and pay £xxx a month. I decided to only add a/c purely for my comfort as I intend to give what's left of it back after...

    Newish, ordered a 200 Cup

Joined a few years ago but never got around to buying a Clio. Ordered a 200 Cup in Racing Blue last week. I wanted something sensible, fun and cheap to run. The 200 seemed to fit the bill. A brief car history that led to the Clio... Civic Type R Focus ST Impreza STI PPP Integra Type R...
