Nope mine doesn't vibrate anymore... I had it opened up and the baffles welded properly as Yozzasports welding is appauling.

Aye there is but when you remove the trim on the inside theres no bolts on the 197s the wiper motor is riveted on....

Just wondering how to remove the rear wiper on a 197? It seems ot be riveted in place form the inside behind the plastic trim? I tried today but left it for fear of damaging something! Anyone done this on any spec clio 3? Help! Tim

Millsy - yup I got that but Henk and me weren't getting anywere so I stuffed the CAT back in and now its great!

Cheers folks! Not a whole pile done to it since thread resurection.... CAT went back in to get rid of the flat spot and its helped alot. Car is much more driveable now but flat spot still present under certain throttle positions. Car also got new rear custom springs and the whole lot raised up...

Yup its left hand drive.... The background was one from the VW Golf W12 650 concept images. Luckily I had my car at the same perspective so I chopped it on....worked ok I think for a 10 minute chop!

They are both very different animals and not much in them performance wise. Its the noise that gets me every time I drive the V6. Its all pure engine rather than slip on exhausts etc as on the 197. Midrange torque (300NM) and a top speed of 150 gives it some advantage of the 2.0 litre clios...

The 197 can be turbo'd - speak to Yozzasport. Apparently the Megane Turbo fits in as they share the same block albeit with different compression ratios.....the exhaust manifold is the same as well but you need the turbo manifold adapted to the 197 to make it work. Bear in mind the Megane Turbo...

MPG hasn't changed - still crap. I haven't actually had the remap yet - Henk has just been trying various calibration files to sort the flat spot. We are on Cal no 6 now! Once it is sorted and running well he said he will try to release a few more ponies higher up and low to mid range torques....

I assume by the centre console you mean the large plastic tunner that houses the gear lever and handbrake and runs back between the two front seats? I'm sure it would fit in but have you got a spare £700 for a new one??? Leave your car the way it is. It isn't a V6 so why waste stupid money on...
