    great stuff, is it ok to undo the main crank bolt against this or should the flywheel be held with a screw driver as autodata instructs!?

    Ah right, this ones a strange one. On day it was leaking and using litres of water, then i looked at it and it was dry, topped it up and it was fine for 2 days, now it's leaking again!

    sorted then. no problems there! I think a main dealers changed the belt and tensioner about 15k ago. I doubt they changed the water pump though, is it common for the pump to leak on them? I picked up a cambelt kit and water pump for £100 Russ 182, you'll probably be looking to pay around...

    I'm changing the cambelt, ternsioner and water pump on a mates 2002 Clio 1.2 16v tomorrow due to the water pump leaking, Autodata says that a camshaft timing pin needed, is this timing pin needed or does the crank have a keyway where the toothed pulley for the cambelt slides onto the crank. i.e...
