I would have thought that 172 or 182 would use alot more fuel than a 1.2.

I know I should just get a 172/182 but it's gonna kill me on insurance and petrol. I've got 4yrs NCB and so it only costs me £270 to insure it. I know the alloys would increase the premium but would the interior and body parts make a huge difference to the premium?

I'm looking at converting my 1.2 into a 182 with all the exterior and interior mods but leave the engine standard. Would I need to tell my insurance as they're all genuine renault parts?
