This is going to sound stupid but what's the upc? Had to change it all as the column and various other parts were stolen on the car I bought. There is a bit of a clicking noise (electrical) when the ignition comes on like something is preventing it from working
It might not be, it just the power steering isn't working, I'd like to know why. I've changed the ecu, uch and steering column and column lock from another car. The column may be duff, the car starts it's just displaying steering fault and no power steering
335i's often have issues with the turbo actuators, alot of power with no LSD but can get one after market. FRS is a great car, but they're getting a bit long in the tooth now.
Hi, have a power steering fault coming up on the dash on my megane 250. Has anyone got a can clip in the south west? Would be willing to pay for time/use. Think it may be angle possition sensor related.
Thanks
Unfortuantly s**t happens. Going back 3yrs ago I did full day at Oulton Park and driving back on the motorway an articulated truck crashed into me! Anyone can crash.
Not in my experience. Did many trackdays at crappy Bedford Airfield (seems to be the home of 172 owners) and never had any issues getting past a 172 when the car was standard.
LOL, Fit a diff £600, Whiteline RARB £150 And it's more capable than the old 225 that's for sure.
Don't know where 10k came from either.
Friend owns a 172 and I can't understand where their high praise comes from. Civic Type R is a much better car for similair money.
Only thing I would be...
I owned one with Bilstein suspension, LSD, uprated anti roll bars, vibratechnics engine mounts, 17x9 wheels, focused geo, stripped out with a rear cage circa 1220kg's, alcon calipers, 300bhp.
Makes the Clio 200 I now own seem pathetically slow and incapable in the handling department...
Had similair issues when the diff went in my old car. Is there a hesitation when turning left or right? A clicking on full lock would indicate cv joint/driveshaft.
To bump this thread, my 200's brakes are doing the same. Just got back from the nurburgring so unsure if I've maybe glazed the discs. But worrying it's making the noise under normal driving and then it dissappears when I press the brake pedal so I'm guessing it's the brakes?

Thinking it might make a good trackday car, but the fact it doesn't have a MOT is a little offputting and the guy is reluctant to get one done.
Thanks
