No more than 25 MPG around town and 35 MPG on the motorway. Don't believe what the trip counter says because mine always over states the MPG by at least 3-5 MPG. Bit suspect of people who claim nearly 40MPG for the 172 as I think they are getting the figures from the trip computer.
I am having to rebuild a PC for a second time now and I suspect the problem is Norton 360. For anti-virus use Avast or AVG for free. Latest version of Avast also does anti-spyware so no need for the Norton bloatware.
I would use the BitDefender or Kaspersky online anti-virus/spyware scanners. I have used them in the past to find spyware that neither AdAware or Spybot could find. Might also be worth using something like the AVG anti-rootkit to make sure nothing else is hiding away on the system.
I am sure I saw that parked there this weekend. Have also seen another silver Ph1 172 with black wheels around the Willows which I have not seen before.
As default I would expect the router to have DHCP enabled so just plug it into your PC via ethernet and it should work. If you really want to know the IP for the router just have a look at the connection details. The IP for the Default Gateway will be the IP for the router.
Spotted yesterday (2nd Feb) at the Penn Inn Roundabout. Pulled up next to it at the lights coming off the A380. It went off towards Milber but did not get a chance to see if it had a CS sticker.
If the exhaust has broken in the middle section then thats all you need. Rear box and middle section can be bought from Renault as seperate bits (@£120 for each I think) and then connected with a sleeve (£20). The only place I found that would do it are ATS. They did do a non genuine Renault...
Sure you don't mean its Win32:Traxg. As its a virus Spybot S&D and Adaware will not find it. If for some reason Avast will not find it then use one of the online virus scanners. Go to http://www.bitdefender.co.uk/ and then click on SCAN NOW.
Liquid yellow 182 stopped at the lights at Torre station @5PM. Was at the opposite lights and just as I pointed you out to the missus the lights went green and she stalled the car :o
Sounds like you will need a new back box and a sleeve to connect it to the middle section. Only place I found that would source and fit genuine Renualt bits for the 172 is ATS. Should be £160. Either that or go buy the bits from Renault and get a garage to fit them.
There have been quite a few threads about this before. It seems a low battery can cause the trip computer to reset itself when the car is started. Seems to be something that happens more in winter than in summer although no idea why.
My exhaust went in exactly the same place a couple of weeks ago. I drove around like that for about 4 days without any problems. Sounds very good when your giving it some but I am sure my ears started to bleed at any thing over 4K. When I took it to ATS for a new back box even the guy there said...
Well I only know of two silver ph2 172's in Torquay. Mine and another which has a private plate on it. As I was in Basingstoke (which seems to be full of RS Clio's) then must of been the other one. Shame as I thought I had my first spotted :(
That sounds alot. What have they quoted you for a new back box or a new middle section? Does sound like they have given you a price for a new back box and centre section but unless everything has rusted you will only need one or the other??
The back box is @£103 and the sleeve to connect it to...
@Evoo
Who do you work for as I am looking for a new job in 2nd line support. Finding a decent IT job in Torquay is not easy as there are no large employers. Especially since Nortel went, I expect everyone in Torbay has worked there at least once.
Someone decided to knock the wing mirror while I parked up at the weekend :mad: . The glass bit has come out but it looks fine and so just seems I have to clip it back on. There are though two electrical connections on the back of the glass and two wires (brown and orange) which I have to plug...
