Another MCS. The track day toy.

Looks like a gayer, less red version of a sheddy Clio you used to own. :car: Im very much looking forward to ragging the nuts off it at Donnington.:smirk:

    Le Mans 2013

Webber flipped twice in 1999. Once at Indianapolis during quali and then again during morning warm up over the old crest approaching Mulsanne. Neither was actually caught by the TV cameras though.... Webber said he'd never return after those two. Glad he's changed his mind. Then there was the...

    Le Mans 2013

Well i'm glad it was all resolved between you lot. Poor old Boffey seemed quite upset at the thought that you guys might be proper pissed at him. Think he perked up a bit after a bottle of Mexico's finest and a Failsport cooked sausage....he buggered off soon after. Personally I think he was...

    Le Mans 2013

I had to renew my membership to come in here and post...12 poxy quid!! ;) Have to say meeting the South Central lads i didn't already know (Ollie, Tom, Gorms, Chris, Tim) renewed my faith in this place occasionally being able to supply normal car loving humans who can actually communicate to...

You, In Your Soft-Top - Pics.

Mike how did you lure Nick into the car, a bag of lemon sherbets in the glovebox? He looks ripe for grooming... I was rather hoping for the full on Miami Vice look tbh. Hot. X

    BMW E30 325i Project

I begrudgingly like this. It's still a crock of s**t and I will have to be drunk to been seen in it with the roof down at Le Mans (which won't be a struggle) but I'm strangely looking forward to helping to get it 'mint'. If it breaks down in the middle of France though I'm doing the decent...

    Clio Trophy or 182 ff?

I'd put money on my 77k 172 Cup being in better condition, externally and mechanically, than one on half that mileage.

    Clio Trophy or 182 ff?

Are you buying to enjoy driving or just because it might be a special edition and people get a hard on when the word 'Trophy' is said after the word 'Clio'? If its the former, save yourself a packet, buy a 182 Cup or, even better, a 172 Cup with good history, (because mileage means sweet f**k...

    My New 172 :D

It's a car, it's straight and he obviously has a lot of love for it. These cars aren't worth a lot now anyway, Cat C or not. Unless him buying a Cat C is directly affecting the quality of your life then your comment is pretty pointless. Change that awful plate and you can be my wingman anytime.

    Project: BMW E21.

You've allayed some of my fears Ed. Getting the bodywork sorted should be the number one priority, and then with perfectly reversible mods then you are onto a good thing. Too many of these 'scene' t***s butchering perfectly decent original cars just for the approval of another loads of belt...

    Project: BMW E21.

Not been on here properly for a long while. This thread has highlighted what I've missed - an epic car and the potential for a tastefully done, OEM-esque resto project......and lots of what I really don't miss - mongaloids with frankly crap suggestions of 'lowz and stance', stupid engine...

    Paintless Dent Removal Talent...

Hello squire, indeed it has been. Been doing my best to limit my CS intake.....mainly to preserve my sanity. Feel like my IQ drops a few notches with every visit ;). Shall PM you and give you my latest....

    Paintless Dent Removal Talent...

The PDR guys really do meddle in the dark arts. They can put most panel beaters to shame. Whats important to remember though is that the dent shown in that Bimmer has no splits or folds and the paint isn't compromised. With a dent of that size and severity thats fooking rare. As soon as they...

    Trophy Track Car

Wow. Quite frankly im amazed you managed to break through the crust that was, errrrm, protecting the paint. IIRC there was a good two years worth of Carbon Lorraine pad dust baked on to it. Glad to see the old girl is going to be used as intended. Hats off to you sir.

    Le Mans 2013

Aston's, Mad Friday and drunken bystanders don't mix that well. The bloke in the One77 we saw in 2011 bore witness to that first hand. Ran over a drunk blokes foot who then punched the rear quarter panel.....but the sound it made when he nailed it....oooooosh. Crisis material.

    My new car... meet Ruby.

Problem with people at work is that they will look at what you drive and if its flashy then they will directly link that to what you must be earning. The bosses son where I work was driving a 911/993 at 23 and a 355 at 25. He then wondered why there were people sniping. Simple...they thought...

    My new car... meet Ruby.

They do indeed mate. And Aston will cover 100% of costs if inside the warranty period. After that up to five years old they will pay a contribution, which can be up to 50-60% depending on how much stink the customer kicks up. Anything beyond that is now a blanket £250 payment and that's it. So...

    My new car... meet Ruby.

If its out of Astons body warranty, which it will be, you can get the dealership to submit a warranty claim but Aston, at best, will only pay £250 towards the costs. The rest the customer will have to stump up. And they corrode regardless of condition, age and storage. I've seen an 18 month old...

    My new car... meet Ruby.

Impressive purchase. Especially if you have budgeted for the costs involved. Servicing and known problems can bankrupt most normal folk. Found any corrosion yet? It will appear...it's just a matter of when if it hasn't already. All the 'new' Astons have a huge issue with corrosion on body...

Have had mine up and running 4 days now. Decided to bung it in a Speck Pixel HD case for it the other day as I was very impressed with the one I had on my 4. Must say this newest one is just as good if not better. Sod running it naked.

    Konigsports or SPAX coilovers?

Sounds like its completely your call then squire. You'll have those pushing one over another and delcaring...
