im going to wait till the engine has been strpped down first to see how bad the damage really is. also going to try a few reno breakers when i know i need a new engine. Its a proper pisser that its broke, i drove my sisters 1.5 dci clio to work today and its a world of difference! Cheers...

just a quick question(s) will a 172 cup engine be a suitable replacement for the broken engine in my FF172, as i can get hold of a new engine from a breakers for 600+VAT Is that a good price? Also the engine has got 21k on it, if i did get this engine, would i change the milage on my car...

Ive just rang reno and they are going to see the possability of them getting involved as the car isnt 5 years old yet. it nearly is but its not quite. doubt they will do anything but worth a phone call. otherwise it may be a new engine!

The car has done 51000 on a 02 plate, and has been serviced every year, not by a stealer tho, just by my mate at his garage. is there any way that renault will do anything as the book says the timing belt will go for 72000 miles?

What a shite month for my car. first off i had to put 4 new tyres on it, so theres 220 quid, then i had to replace one of the driveshafts cos the CV joint had been running dry, while doing this, my mate told me that the other one was buggered and ill need the other drive shaft replacing! so...

I have just had to replace one of my drive shafts for the same problem, and there was not a CV joint availale on its own! 100 quid for a driveshaft tho. and now the other side is broken aswell!!

Im sure if you go to Powerbulbs.co.uk you can select your make/model/year of car from there and it will display which bulbs will fit your car, then you can check ebay and get them cheaper! I orderd these silver vision bulbs yesterday for my FF172 mk2...

Hi all, my headlight washer jets do not work, nor have they ever. I want shot of them cos i think they look gash. my question is, will the blanking plates which are on the CUP bumper fit exactly on mine? i can get them sprayed for nowt and theres a cup in my local scrapyard with these on...
