10-15KG loss for the seat
2KG for the wheel
To weigh it get it on some corner weight scales. I had mine done at Northampton motorsport I doubt they would charge more then £20 to do it
not my car though ;)
results for my full fat 182...
My boss was in the car park one evening when I was reversing out. He actually called me back saying he thought I should check my brakes because they sounded like they were fucked. I spent a rather embarressing 5 minutes trying to explain that I had spent an awful lot of money getting them to...
Very different to mine
It kicks at 4k compared to mine at 5k (can that even be right? donsnt the cam timing change at 4.5k?)
Amazing how it has so much torque at 7.5k and how much bigger the area under the graph is compared to mine.

Give hillpower a ring if you need to get hold of the kit.

Was faster or just better driveabilty with the cable throttle?
I think the Renault kit is quite expensive unless Hillpower gave me the fitted figure.
In my experience, having had this kit (cable and OMEX) fitted for the last couple of years, only fit standalone if you are installing ITBs which give you a worthwhile power increase to outweigh the pain of...
You want more power and GDI have suggested you get a cable throttle fitted. How does this gain power?
Hillpower do the Renault conversion. I was quoted 1.5k but that was just for the parts I think.
The pads should clamp more of the disk then they do on the willwoods, see below how far the rust line is away from the inside of the disk which to me is showing up poor bracket design.
compared to the compbrakes
I have had the compbrake kit fitted for about 12 months on my daily driver.
Theres no getting away from the fact that the pedal travels further then standard and even after bleeding them numerous times the pedal is also softer.
I went through aset of pads in 7 months having just changed...
LOL at the shed below. Why did you take a picture of that!?
Have to agree with ben_p about the chavs though. TheJesus do you go around with your hood up like those faggots?
Just spoke to my local garage and he said you have to replace the whole drive shaft and because Renault dont do an exchange program they are £175 each!
Is this right?
Sound like the inner CV joint then. :(
"Wear in the outer joint usually shows up as vibration at certain speeds, a bit like the vibration caused by an unbalanced wheel. To determine if the joint is worn, a driver should find a big empty car park and drive the car slowly in tight circles, left...
Thanks for the info. I will leave it a couple of weeks and see if it gets worse. I dont think I can feel anything when accelerating I will have to pay more attention next time.
The last couple of times I have been out in my car I have had the same problem.
Both happed when accellerating then quickly getting off the accelerator but once at low speed and today on the motorway at high speed.
I couldnt feel it through the steering wheel but it was like a loud...
You cant get at the programming port though.
Take the crap off and save up for some coilovers it will look good then.
The wheels look OK on mine IMO but definately need a bit of a drop.
I have those wheels on mine but they look OK due to having coilovers on. Unfortunately the lights, spoiler and wheels make it look to fussy and pretty chav really.
Any reason why the OMEX is mounted that way up?
He was 10bhp down on 172s that ran on the same RR on the same day though.
10bhp istn a massive difference though. Did you check your tyre pressures before you went?
