Hmmm i think i must be odd! I use it every night, 20miles round trip...half of it is 60mph roads firstly, have had mk2 172 for 4months...never been above 6k rpm! secondly, can go a few weeks without thrashing! I always worry bout the clutch? cant imagine changing gear quickly at 7krpm...

New switch maybe, but i cant honestly see how a switch like that wears out! its either pedal adjustment or the simple fact the switch needs to be about 2mm further away from the pedal could just file off 2mm from the plastic switch (far right in pic :P)

Another thread about *Rear brake lights dont light unless braking quite hard* and when in traffic, light braking means the rear brake lights dont ever light! Surely somebody has this too + I know its a common prob. (just havent the time to go to dealer :( for such a minor thing)

Mine look the same - rust wise. Renault said they only do approx 20% of the overall braking and that the rust on them looked bad but they still have 0.4mm life left which occording to them is 40% so should go on another 20k at least hahah! im on the look out for new rear discs but...
