Can't leave this car alone!!!
Been busy again today and got the grille painted up, really hated the faded grey to the grille so got it sprayed up, came out fantastic
Started out by rubbing it back gently with a scotch pad just to take the top layer off and gently key the surface, then put a...
Had a go at de bobbling the seat, needs a little more time with a suede brush but generally it's come out alot better!!
And after

Just want to say we recommend customers to replace tyres at 3mm because wet weather performance drastically reduces after that point, so just a heads up :)

Yeah I'm considering removing the tints, especially as they are only on the rear windows but not the back window
I'll have to spend a weekend doing it though as I'd have to remove the trims around the glass lol

Reasonable update today!
Gave the car a wash, very happy with how it looks on the outside right now
Then I gave the carbon wrap a try and very happy with how it came out :)
Just waiting on the yellow fog light tint to come and I'll be happy with how the car looks outside wise...
Nice work, I've heard some fantastic stuff about that c4 and been wondering about getting some for the plastics, what's it like to apply I'm a little scared I'll sod it up

Totally understand and it is just for looks, serves no purpose for towing at all, I personally think they look mint :D
As you said it's down to personal preference! I owned a few dubs before this and it's doing stuff I've never done on cars before, including actually driving them hard...
Thanks dude much appreciated! It photographs well but is actually a bit of a nail lol needs a dent Guy
Took some photos of some beading tho this morning when I came out to it lol

So I have ordered some bits and bobs,
- Takata tow strap (not gonna lie it's purely for the looks)
- carbon fibre wrap for the dashboard trim panels
- yellow fog light tint
And the all important club membership, it's renewal time next month so it's pretty good timing as it seems I can get...
Keep up the good work!
Had my 172 a month and I feel more likely to keep it than any other cars I've owned!
I haven't owned a car longer than a year really lol

Nice, a very tidy example!
I think a 182 will be next for me I think racing blue is fast becoming my favorite colour

So I had the car in at work today (I'm always at work lol) and had a look at this suspension issue, luckily the spring seats are still there so I took them off and cleaned them up and wound them up!
The car rides so much smoother and feels alot more positive when driving, definite improvement...
Well it's making the best of the situation at the moment, gonna save up for cup shocks and cooksport springs as I've heard they are the best set up tbh

So spoke to a mate who gave me some spring platforms off an ibiza to see how I get on! Hopefully sort out the rears, if like a little bit of rake to it tbh but I think it would make it a little more comfy and better handling too

More things have happened!!!
I went to halfords and got a pair of wiper blades cause mine where pants, alot better in the rain which can strike at any time!
Bumped into a mate whilst I was looking at headlight Polish kits and he offered to do them for me! What a lad!
Then right one has...
They're a normal lowering springs kit bar the rear springs and adjuster platform, fronts are lowering springs on standard shocks, I'd like the ktec coilover kit but not at the moment haha
I'll have a look around for platforms

Hi there!
I've had my clio a little while now and the car was lowered before I bought it, I was changing the brake fluid and noticed that the rear springs were a coilover kit rear spring on anew adjustable platform.
The only issue is that the previous owner thought it would be a clever ides...
So had the car in at work today, changed sidelight bulbs for led, did a brake fluid flush and checked why my Airton was cold, it has a leak somewhere (I have FGAS) so used to mach8ne to detect the leak :)
State of that brake fluid!!!
Then gave the car a quick wash and polished the oreca...
Was reading the thread, noticed some good stuff about these cameras, but a quick question:
How are you finding the i3? I'm a bmw technician so would actually like to know what consumers think of the i3, I've driven a couple and they are stupid fast to about 50, but what's it like to live with...
