Hi all
Just changed my insurance to Admiral Multicar, mine plus a Freelander V6. I was paying £330 for my Clio 172 Cup, now paying £209, and the Freelander £197.
Just thought I'd share as it was a good saving, ok I'm 41 but this multicar thing seems to work, and may work for others.
The cup still has the valve at the rear, and is factory set so no adjustment. I'd get the master cylinder checked out, if the slaves on the wheels show no sign of leakage. Also the servo mat be at fault or a leaking vacuum pipe, I've moved my car down my drive without the engine running - foot...
The Cup in the dry is a fantastic bit of kit, it's very adjustable, safe and loads fun. Braking hard and feeling the rear become light and moving is wonderful, cocking up one rear wheel on a good tightening bend and controlled acceleration just holding prior to the wheels slipping makes the Cup...

Looks like a Nissan Micra from the rear quarter and a Ford KA from the rear, and a Peugeot 206 from the side. The only "good" angle is front on, and that's pushng it a bit.
What a cockup, I can't believe how Renault has got it so wrong. Bigger, heavier and more expensive. Looks like a Nissan Micra from the rear quarter and a Ford KA from the rear, and a Peugeot 206 from the side. The only "good" angle is front on, and that's pushng it a bit. I thought in this day...
Hi everyone - Been a member for a while but never posted before doh.
I'm closer to 39 than 38 and have had my 172 Cup from new. Had BM's in the past but as someone said before they are boring to drive. Had a 330 sport with SMG (flappy paddles) and even that wasn't as much fun as my Cup. Had a...
