As above, because you're just using it for storage you don't really need a RAID array - if it went down you would buy a new drive and restore a backup - nothing time-critical in photos/videos (for the most part).
In which case I'd do both of the suggestions above - get a cloud backup set up...
I found it a bit easier winding the boost right up to 6 bar - it's so spikey that I found it easier to manage than trying to push harder with lower boost levels. It's also worth upping the gear ratios and making 2nd/3rd/4th quite a bit longer.
Considering theirs are about $50k, that's a touch over budget!
Gotta be honest, I'd be getting some local fabricator to build one for me rather than trying to buy - the Vesaro one above is little more than some posh bent tube with a bucket seat mounted, yet it's $12500!
Things like triple VESA...
Doom for some great blaster action, new Crash N.Sanity for retro thrills with shiny new graphics. Wipeout is supposed to be good but not played it yet.
Last of Us was incredible on PS3, gonna get it on PS4 as well. PCARs and DIRT Rally/DIRT 4 all worth getting as well if you like racing games. :)
I've found that for pretty much all racing games on a public server - even those that try to race properly (i.e. realistically) you will always get that one person who either smashes into everyone else or just cuts every corner to win dirty.
Pretty rare - most outside air temp readings aren't fed into the fuel injection system, that'll use an inlet air temp sensor (as it's often much hotter under the bonnet), and you need accurate temps to help with the calculations.
In this case it either sounds like the camshaft sensor or fuel...
This is a common misunderstanding...
The bolts don't have to carry the wheel loads - the friction from the mounting face of the wheel to the hub is where the strength is coming from, the bolts just supply the clamping force to make it work. This is why spreading copper-slip all over alloy wheel...
Just to dig this thread up, as it popped up in a search, I've fitted a set of the ECP Pagid cables to my car last night and they do fit correctly, despite the lengths being a bit shorter on paper.
It'd be impossible if you weren't fitting them as a pair though, as once they've stretched it'd be...
It's not really, it's a re-brand job, not sure who actually makes them though! I have one of their top boxes in orange and it's really decent for the money. Much better than the Halfords non-pro/other crap at that level. In fact it feels exactly as good as the Halfords Pro range...
Not played it, but it's supposed to be a notch down in difficulty from Rally - they've got Rally2 on the way at some point.
I'm really excited to pick this up at some point - the auto-generating stages sound awesome.
Agreed! That's how mine is and it's perfect.
I've had full powerflex engine/gearbox mounts in before and they're great when you're at 9/10ths down your favourite B-road or on track, but a frigging pain the other 99% of the time...
Agreed! Don't go crazy with cable, just the usual half-decent stuff they have spools of in RS. Beyond that it's totally pointless for sensible power levels imo.
One thing I would say is to spend a disproportionate amount on an amp, it's the root of all quality. :)
You can probably reprogram them with a full version of CLIP if you know what you're doing, but it'll be tricky.
I'd persevere and try and find the whole set - maybe worth asking a scrapper with a car listed?
ETA: There's quite a lot of sets listed on eBay, are you sure you can't find one? IIRC...
If you copy+paste the site names into column B (yellow), then highlight the formulas which generate the sub-sections, and in the bottom-right corner hover over the square it'll change the mouse to the fill tool - this fills sites as you drag it (double-click for auto-fill) and changes the cell...
Yeah, that's kinda what I meant! :tongueout:
Try this, I've uploaded a spreadsheet with an example set, but what it does is use string manipulation to create a single row with 4 columns - one each for the survey bits and one header. We can then define it as a range, and use a transpose function...
So for your Lancaster example you want to get the following?
-- 157 - Lancaster goes to ->
-- 157 - Lancaster
--- 157 - Lancaster - Survey ...
--- 157 - Lancaster - Survey ...
--- 157 - Lancaster - Survey ...
Not necessarily - a flash ROM used in place of an SSD doesn't have to conform to any form factor if it's used as SoC, just be able to be addressed through the motherboard through the usual protocol.
Ah, a lovely netbook! I thought they were all dead by now... :D
Sadly I suspect you're scuppered, unless, as above, you manage to find a bootable, scriptable program that can just image the drive across to removable storage.
As well as our usual monthly one I thought it'd be good to try and do a LM special since we're only a couple of weeks away from the best race of the year!
So, full lap of Le Mans, I thought we'd go for 2 completely different cars, the 1st being the Sauber C9 and the second being the Oreca...
Doubt it's part of the mobo, sure it's not just an add-in? Very often they'll be mSATA/M2 PCIe etc. What model was it?
If it is built in, and you really can't get anything on screen at all you'd be stuck tbh, unless you managed to find an automated, bootable system to copy the files out, but...
When you select your car on the right-hand side there's a link to the garage, once in there you can edit the global setup.
It's not very well integrated tbh, I don't understand why it's different to the standard practice menus.
