i got a price for a new clutch for my clio today as my one is "on its last legs" according to the mechanic and the price came out at £223.84 is that about right or way too expensive?

how easy is it to do and what oil do i need? im not shure when it had an oil change last ive had the car since feb 07 and ive done just over 3k do i need to chage the oil? ive checked the dipstick and theres loads of oil on it, or can i just poor a new bottle into the oil thats allready in...
