Ok am currently following Fubars guide. I have removed the 5 screws in step 2 (3 in vent and 2 either side). I skipped step 1 because the rubber seal didn't come off very easily and I was wondering if it's glued on or if I'm just not pulling it hard enough? Is this step entirely necesarry...

Yesterday I replaced just the front door speakers with my new Alpine Type R's as I will wait for the weekend when I have more time to take the dash off etc. But the thing is the sound is worse than the renaults standard speakers. Is this just because I haven't got the crossovers set up yet...

How do I go about fitting these? The old speakers have a clip on it but the new ones dont and I don't have a Soldering kit. Is there any other way I can get these to fit? Also which wires are positive and which negative as I don't knowwhich one to attach where. Thanks!
