Hey all. long time since I last had a Renault, but to cut a long story short I sold my Clio, got a 306 HDi, that died and I did a deal that got me a 206 XS for not many pennies. The XS is fine but I have fucked the bodywork (stupid accident in a car park - my first in my four years of driving...
Bought this off of Len Beach a few weeks ago and it is now attached. It's a big improvement in my opinion but I know a lot of people don't like it. I think it lifts the appearance of the back end myself.
Opinions welcome:)

Cheap way of going racing! Almost be tempting to import one if you were after a hillclimb car or whatever.
Bet it never comes to these shores...
I've seen a couple of cars on here with number plates that are cut down to the edge of the letters. They aren't any smaller proportionally (i.e. they aren't 3/4 size), it's just the width that's reduced.
Am I right in thinking these are legal? Where could I buy them from, how much and what are...
I've just found someone has hacked my PayPal, added a new email address and then spent about £30 on downloaded games in dollars. What do I do? I've emailed PayPal, changed my password and will remove my car details for now, but how do I reclaim the money?
Thanks
Spotted this a couple of times when I've been out on the bike and I'm sure I saw it outside the Uni's Union building one evening. Silver with MkII/Ph2 rear lights and a private plate which has 2 numbers and 3 letters or some such combo.
Nice car indeed.
I last drove it two weeks ago, just before coming to Uni. I have 11 weeks left until I can drive it and I'm missing it already...:dapprove:
Oh well, I'll just have to drink more to try and make it through tough times:D
Just as a disclaimer, I am missing my family as well. A little bit.
Spotted you today outside the Uni, not long after five. I know who you are on here but have forgotten your name :( Sorry lol. Car is looking absolutely stunning, although did I spot a missing side strip? It is a rep right? Anyway, I loved it - great colour too.
I am now in Leeds at Uni and my...
If my CD Changer is dead, how expensive would it be to fit the Tune Point from the Campus models to a 2003 Dynamique with standard Tunerlist HU?
Could I do it myself?
Thanks
As above; I believe a CD is half stuck in. Is there any way of manually releasing the cartridge or freeing the CD please?
Thanks
(It is the manufacturer one by the way)
A concept right now, but not hard to imagine how it will look on the road. Lovely:)

There are some new pictures on the Autocar website (http://www.autocarmagazine.co.uk/News/NewsGallery.aspx?AR=227450&EL=-1&IM=133178) and although it isn't the best looking car ever, it is a lot less anonymous than I thought at first and quite classy.
Just me or anyone else agree?:)
My bike started making a clicking noise last month so I took it back to where I bought it (it was new in April) and they replaced the pedal assembly. All was fine for a while but when I took it out Friday (after riding twice in a row in heavy rain, though that is probably coincidental) it was...
I am off to Uni next month and I'll be going to Leeds, but my insurance is also due for renewal. I want to take the car because it is more practical than the train and I want to be able to take my bike out across the Dales, but I'm not sure what to do about insurance. Do I insure it for my home...
Can anyone recommend a decent, dependable laptop for around £400 that would do me for Uni and is reliable please? Just for downloading music and word-processing and preferably with Vista - are Dell any good? Good battery life is essential. My Packard Bell has given up after only two and a half...
I have twice now seen a lovely, blue 172 near Ashford; once it was coming off the M20 at J9 from a coastal direction and then yesterday morning at about 7.30 near Hothfield going to towards Ashford. It is something like LX52 ---...definitely London registered anyway. I was on a (push)bike on...
Would someone be able to PS the pic below and lower my car about 40mm and colour the wheels anthracite please? Could it also be done without the lowering? Thanks, Will
Best pic I have of the side - hope it's ok.
I was cycling to work this morning, came off a cycle path onto the road where the path ran out and along the side of a loooooong queue of traffic next to a school when suddenly there is a door in front of me and my arm and bike are connecting with it. One severely bruised arm, a mildly damaged...
I am about to buy a CD Changer for my Dynamique and wondered if someone could tell me how to fit it; how to pull the stereo out etc and where to run the wire to get it behind the dash?
Thanks
Hope this isn't a repost...

Is this too cheap? Any opinions please (oh and will it fit a Dynamique with Tuner List stereo?)
This is purely a thought at the moment, but I want my car to look a little different and am limited by funds and where I live (re: lowering), so I wondered if someone could use one of the pics and ps it to show me what the wheels would look like with the centre caps in black and in anthracite...
Just a quick question; I want to put Silvervisions on my 03 Dynamique and I wondered if someone could tell me the correct bulb code please? Is it PY21W?
Where is cheapest to buy them?
Thanks
Will
I hope this is in the right section - it has a Clio in it...
Anyway, a few pics of my car and my (student) mate's new (to him) 1.4 Fiesta, taken on the seafront near Folkestone (Sandgate for those of you who know Kent). Think they look quite good together but shows how oversized the Fiesta is...
Cleaned my car today and then polished it with poor-man's Turtle Wax. Was pretty happy with the result so I took some pics with my new bike. I know it doesn't have Silver Visions; it will but, for the moment, my pennies are going on two new rear tyres.
I know it is no 172 and not detailed but...
Thought I'd pay the £5 to join and then make the most of it by asking a question:D
Any recommendations for tyres for a 1.2 16v Dynamique? Something good for handling at a reasonable price (i.e. £50 or so each if that isn't unrealistic).
Also is it worth swapping the 7 month old fronts to...
Morning.
My friend is now looking at buying virtually the same car as me (1.2 16v Dynamique) and took one for a test drive yesterday but was concerned because when you change gear and lift the clutch (he keeps his hand on the lever), there is kickback felt through the gear stick. I've now tried...
Ok, this probably won't impress most people but...
I'm 18 and did my first long drive yesterday when I went to see Leeds uni (which I'm very impressed with). It was a 500 mile round trip and I was really impressed with my car. It did the limit easily on the motorways (with three people and...
