whats the furthest anyone has travelled to have there exhaust fitted
mine broke today and i was lucky enough to get it in tommorow, i knew it was a bit of a trek but 182ish miles :o
im soon going to have my 36k service done and i will probabaly do something silly at the same time
the options are take it to angelworks and have a matched manifold put on
or maybe take it to yozzasport as its closer and have it decatted
im not sure which mod is best
what do people think...
when this stops working is it because it snaps or does it just come loose?
mine has gone and i want to know if i need the part before i start the job
also does the cover for the airbag just pull off

i have a blue cup, if i use th touch up paint to repair a scuff, will it be obvious?
the reason i ask is the bumpstrips have always looked a different tone (slightly matt) to the body

my horn does not work so i took it out cleaned up the connections and tested it then it worked, the next day it stopped working. are the switches on the steering wheel prone to failing and are they easy to fix, cheers
over christmas i changed the brake pads, fluid and hoses, i left the old discs on as they were only quarter worn down.
the braking was great but they lock up easily and now i have on a couple of occasions had what feels like brake fade, the first time was after getting off the motorway and...
how long do the pads last, is it a case of two sets of pads to one set of discs, im pretty sure i have renault discs
im wodering if i should change discs at the same time, even thow i still have 3 quarters of the disc life remaining
since i bought my clio cup i have had the tyre pressures set at 30 psi because i had the same size tyres on my mk2 golf, ive just found out they should be 40psi fronts and 32 rears
will this make a large difference to the handling?
when i put the correct pressure in will i be making it...
The story i was given by the guy i bought my car off, was that it was on its original tyres, having done only 17000 miles and from the wear patern i belived him
it is now on 26000 and i have just checked the wear on the discs
the fronts are only 25% worn, with a worn pad on one side and a fair...
they are really impressive brakes and they make the ones on my cup seem limp,
The pads are fairly worn but the fluid may not have been replaced so im guessing its that, so im going to put in some new fluid (probably wasn't included in service) and new pads.

the bloody rubbery leather is starting to look rough, can you get aftermarket steering wheels with air bags.

i had to wait aprox 60k when i fitted a new engine in my old golf for it to become as good as the one i replaced.

I bought it because it was relatively cheap, fairly new and in good condition, but mostly because i couldn't think of a german of japanese rival that could compete on price and spec.
apart from being french, its got a very good spec, normally aspirated, light and good...
the wheels on my car are really pissing me of, they never look clean, ive had the car for 6 weeks and i spend as much time cleaning the wheels as i do the car and then they look filthy the next day because of the millage i do.
