Where would I get a 2002 172 Continental 16" 50 profile tyre OFF THE SHELF? i wondered if renault would keep them? Also, its only a screw about 30mm long, number 8 i think. Is that able to be repaired? Shame cos i planned on alloys ASAP :(

I fitted my new amp 8gauge lead earlier. Had to re-set the dash clock so guessing no matter how hard i tried...the battery was disconnected for a split second! Anyway, locked my car for 1st time and heard a constant high pitch loud whistle, unlocked and locked again..fine this time round...

Happened from day 1, not getting worse but not getting better. leave car sat still all day, use it every night and the handbrake sticks on (rusty rear disc just after 10hours of no use & the rear knocks when i go to pull away) i know its moisture on the pads, corroding the disc/pad...

looked in manual but no joy i am used to having it on Auto, setting to 22 and sitting back today i notice the a.c light on too? went to turn it off and it turns off Auto button light too... turn Auto back on and on comes the air con light..I DONT WANT AC ON! :D ??

Does anybody know or have any way of finding out which wire is the stereo sound input to standard tuner list stereo? thought there may be a red and white...but no luck :)

my mate has a Connects2 box, which has the blue connector and was used in his std Clio to add a Sony CD Changer. Halfords sell the kit so you can add a Sony 6 disc changer, and keep the std head unit. I looked around and there is a cheap Dension ICE Link kit, which fits Sony head units...

mk2 clio: the head unit display shows Radio 1 etc for the radio and Track 1 for CD has anybody got the track name/artist displayed once they have made their own cds? ID3 tags or something?! cant ever get mine to show, not even on my old kenwood or sony cd player...which support CD text :D

quick question, is the rear Clio badge stuck on, or like a Saxo does it have stupid pins going thru the metal work? had a look at the top half of the badge can be pulled away easy - its something on the botton which holds it on! thanks

I really just want a little clearer, better bass- I know how easy it is to change front door speakers, am hoping this will make sound a little better with std h/u Anyway, lookin at halfords (so i can buy now) they only have 2 way speakers but as i have dash tweeters...there is no point...

flamin annoy me! 1) do you all hear a loud click everytime the intermittant slow wipe comes on...and off? 2) more importantly, my main fast wipe is messed up - I click it to the fast setting and the loud click happens, then clicks on/off repeatingly so i cant keep it stuck in fast wipe...

bought my 172 last week, didnt really notice but when driving the car other day noticed my foot doesnt actually feel supported well on the foot rest next to pedals, looked tonight and saw the allen key headed long screw sticking out half an inch!! the foot rest is loose too?! any reason...

Bought from renault dealer, car fine for 2 days got a bit blowy yesterday (exhaust back box tone) and got home now and its very loud on acceleration: looked under the rear with a big torch and the back box area is hanging down to the right? I can see a metal arm going into a rubber X...

Is it normal, have the bass on say number 7 the rear distort and sound buggered on low volume, but sound good on higher volume? does the whole rear door card have to be removed or does the speaker grille/door bin section pop off? too scared to pull hard!

Got 2002 172 standard cd head unit, is there any way to connect an ipod? e.g. left/right phono input (aux) I also have Renault Apline 6cd changer, kinda hoped it had the red/white L and R phono plugs ... but no joy, just a renault connector any advice?

not sure if this is correct section as it may be mechanical? as i start my 172 2002 engine, there is a annoying buzzing noise from the interior light area?! there are small speaker type holes....not sure what it can be? Cant hear when driving what with the engine/radio noise

Looking around for any mats for 2002 172 seen a few nice silver edged mats, renaultsport logo etc whats the best recommendations? might just be me...but really dont fancy spending £80 or £90 for fully custom made ones. Must be quality though, deep black pile :) thanks!

On ebay, yahoo, etc Looking for some nice shiny side repeaters, came accross loads on ebay. Looked on official Ultra, ABCDesign sites and they all say "Clio 98-00" or Clio Mk2... cant find ANY for a 2002 clio? mines a 172 - had a look and saw the orange standard ones pop in a square...
