Anyone work for Halfords? - 3/8" ratchet repair kit

I've just ordered a ratchet repair kit for my 1/4 drive ratchet and wanted to get spares for the other two for the drawer.
I found the 1/2" one but no sign of the 3/8" one on the website.
I called my local branch who informed me that they arent on the website, but couldnt confirm whether they'd been discontinued, or temporarily out of stock, or what the story is.
Anyone work at halfords and got any idea?

Just take the ratchet in and they change them now

That's good to know, thanks! It's fine for now, but I was a little worried no rebuild kits meant an inevitable dead ratchet in the future. If they hand out new ones then great!

Yeh just take the old broken one in and they swap them no problem, I swapped my 3/8" last weekend.

does anyone work for halfords? In there the other day, about 6 of us in a queue with a fella talking war and Peace about his bicycle inner tube, and about 3 others walking around not taking a blind bit of notice of the queue.

Waited about 5 minutes, put my item down and walked out.

Does anyone know if you can buy individual bits. I think I may have lost my 15mm ratchet spanner from the 200pcs set, I know I can just contact them but not tonight :tongueout:

Im sure you can buy individual pieces, they are locked in a glass cupboard in the tool section, thats where they normally get them from when they swap your broken one for a replacement.

Yeah you can they took 13mm ratchet spanner out of a part kit for me to replace a lost one.
