hello
called rimstock today about orderind 8 new 1.2s 7x15 et 35/38
now they said they sell alot of et40 as thats cup regs or summit
now its just track day toy .but people have said et 35/38 is best .the waiting time for owt else other than et40 is 6 to 8 weeks . et 40 6 to ten days
is et40 correct

I run Et 40 on TD 1.2s , but saying that I run 16mm spacers also .
I've heard the 35-38et give you a wider track from the outset , so smaller thinner spacers needed to achieve a smaller Et on top .

You also need to take into account if you are lowering too.

It'll be on gaz golds when they come . Atm it''s on coil overs front and rear springs with the adjuster in and it's silly low on 16s turinis et38.5 but will be raised a bit yes for track days
It's more the fact I read people say et 35/38 is good for track . And with spending a bit on good suspension I wanna get the et right if that all makes sense

E40 of the 750mc 182 K-Tec control wheel.

Just grab some 10mm spacers from pure for the stub axels and 25mm hub-centric up from and your winning [emoji106]

ET 40-43 is where you want to be really, the further you go out the more scrub you get. I certainly wouldn't go above 38 on the front, wider track does not automatically mean better handling.

When you say above 38, do you 36,37 etc?

Only ask as im in two minds wether to get 40 or 35 for my Cup packed 182 with H&R springs.

Front is lower than the rear.

My 2118's are ET43 with 5mm spacers so effectively ET38 and it's spot on.

Mine will probably be on 195 tyres too.

Current wheels are 16x7 which is what the t.d's are.

who sells the rear stub ones ,and you ment 25mm spacers on front as normal.. for me its just track day toy ,but at same time making it handle best i can without going mental
