Dab radio?

So got the missus a mk3 mr2 and the headunit is s**t

What are folk using? It's got space for a double din unit. Don't mind if it's single din but would like the following:

Bluetooth music streaming and hands free
Dab
Fm

Not bothered about CD player really. Budget isn't a lot, we're downsizing the car because of money but the radio in the car is pish, it needs to go. I'll try get a wee project thread going. I kind of like it even though I wouldn't drive it

something like this
Then you can use your phone for sat nav too.

I run a double-DIN in the MX5, no DAB though. Never use the CD/DVD part.
Alternatively, get a single DIN unit, then use a cubby drawer underneath to store phones/ipods in, you can run the USB from the back of head unit into the drawer and keep it all unclutted.

Finally. Consider internet radio over DAB, any audio you can pass out of a phone can go to a headunit

£300!

Internet radio is a great idea but it humps your data allowance. Ideally I'd like a dab for it. Seems as though it adds around £50 to the price when it's got dab which is frustrating. I would have though the dab stations would want the car radios to have it and they would be more affordable

Alright, hows about the cheapest end of the market?
Then, shove one of these under it

Internet radio is hardly a data-rapist, but if you're on, say a 1Gb tariff then yeah, dont do that.

I put a Kenwood DAB unit in my car, single DIN.
Personally I think any headunit install should have phone connectivity now, the fine is a 6 point raping and just not worth the hassle.

That Pioneer that Goodj linked, it says it plays music and stuff off your phone but does it do the calls as well?
(bit sneeky of manufacturers if it doesn't)

No it doesn't, but it's cheap.
I wouldn't have it in my car.

Nah I understand that but there's not even really a cheap shitty thing that does them all

Looks like single din is the way forward. Double din looks great but they're considerably more
