No idea how you've got that high light level. All 3 of mine around 350....
Still annoyed that I keep getting y2 weapons from rank up packages. Did get a zen meteor last night though from an engrams which I've. It had before.
Also picked up the new devil dawn sniper.

How do we get the ornaments for the new iron armour from the book? All I can find is the exotic weapon ornaments yet of seen people in full ornamented gear.
Also, has anyone got the second hidden siva fragment on fell winter peak? And I don't mean the one on the ledge when you drop out the gondola.

Light 340-350

Get to level 340-350 by playing story mode.
Light 350-365
------------------
Once you can comfortably clear the siva strikes the end boss will drop 2-3 blues. Those blues will go up to light level 365. I didnt realise this at first and was breaking them down. If you can try and join a Omnigol farming session as this will get you to 365 in 1 hour.
Light 365+
------------------
Use exotic engram and packages from the tower will got 365+
Yeah they are pretty simple once you hit 350+ but they do get boring. If you can, get on LFG and find a party doing the "Omnigol Cheese" There is a tab for it now. With the burn being arc, ideally you need 2 storm callers and a Nightstalker, the Nightstalker will need the exotic arc sword. Pop your tether on the first encounter with her and then the storm callers just do thier thing. As soon as she dies collect the drops/orbs rinse and repeat for super quick levelling.
One you hit 365 the levelling does pick up a bit. Im now held back by my ghost and artifact and I'm struggling a bit to find any to be honest. Because of this i didn't really gain anything from doing the raid
The only real way to get an artifact is Eris and CoO. If you are still 360 you should be be able to get a 365 artifacts from decoding engrams. Normally if you drop a lot of blues at the cryptach a purple will turn up sooner or later. Once you are 365+ your only way is CoO and raid and its a pain in the arse. As for ghosts the only three ways are Faction package, chests on strikes and raid.

Over hyped garbage. Every DLC level from the first 2 packs was pretty much the same levels as before, just reversed. A couple extra areas but not worth anything near £25. The Croata raid was the weakest of them all.
Taken King was an improvement. 40 quids worth of improvements though?? No chance. Had finished in within a few hours. Minus raid, obvs. But in my eyes should have been how the game was shipped in the first place. It wasn't DLC, it was just the game finally being complete. Raid was entertaining though.
Haven't played the new one, as I stopped playing about a month after taken King released. Have heard mostly negative though. Same s**t. Same enemies.
Don't get me wrong, had some good times on there. Vault of glass was awesome. But it just wasn't enough. Watch the E3 demo they did the year it released. So many empty promises. I was a huge halo fan, so maybe I expected too much. Whether it was bunjies doing, or activation, it's just a money grabber. Year one was pretty much a beta. Fair play to them though. Bet they laughed all the way to the bank

Im going to go against the grain here.
So far i think the DLCs have been really good, all be it a little short but that is just the story mode. There is so much more to this than just the 5 new story missions and the 1 strike :/ but then again i play this purely for the PVP aspect of the game. Im yet to find another game that has kept me playing as long as Destiny has.
I tend to play with a bunch of good people i can only guess this is what the people not enjoying it are missing. Playing it on your own must get pretty boring quickly.

Do you not find the pvp unbalanced? I was playing when blink/shotgun was all the rage. Was awful. And when the thorn was severely overpowered. Was alright if you had one. If not then prepare to die.
The whole point of pvp is to create a balanced experience basically making it the best man wins. I just didn't find that the case. Why should someone who had a randomly dropped weapon now have an advantage over someone who hasn't?

Come back Marc we miss you!
Paul last night after I was logging off a guy I played with on a raid invited me to play a trials card. We got to 8-0 and 4-4 on the last game, but lost! I was so gutted. We lost our mercy against a team on our third game who had 2 players who were over 3.0 kd, they were unbelievable. The final team had all been flawless 150+ times each so their experience helped, but annoyingly we were 2-0 up to begin with

Whenever I log in to play Xbox (I have a lot of time to right now as I'm working closer to home, and the wife goes to bed early) you guys are always in PvP

365 on my Warlock. Not sure on my Titan as I have drops I can increase him with. I haven't even started with my Hunter!Ah Marc. Don't cry/be emotional. We have Best for that!
What level are you? We can finish the raid at some point - hard mode drops next week too
I played a few games Saturday night and got some nice stuff drop, even when the team I was on lost.
Just a shame I didn't get to spend much time on it, as i didn't even hit rank 1.
Yeah, I'm not sure what happened, or what I missed. Was there something specific to do in order to get ranked up?
(I.e. something needed to be activated or whatever)
The 'quest' was a joke! Basically a cut scene where Efrideet showed up after being missing for a few hundred years, and Saladin then just says 'oh OK cool you're alive' then instead of investigating where she was or how she survived, she becomes a NPC who you just treat as you did Saladin for IB. Was sort of hinting at she had been doing some stuff but probably won't find out until Destiny 2.
I might be on later mate, if I am I'm up for doing something. Personally I'd recommend doing IB to level up though.

I was yesterday, it was my day off. I planned to be able to jump on last night, but work asked me to start at 4am today, so an 8pm bedtime was required! Although due to my car puncture this morning, I'm off today, too. Winner!

Depends what you mean by beaten? Unless you're in crucible (PVP) you will be fighting alongside other people not against them.
What system are you on? If you're on Xbox One we can do the refer a friend quest which will help you level up and we both get some loot.
If you go to Bungie.net there is some information on there which explains it, then just follow the link below and it will 'link' us so we can start it. You can only do it in the first week after starting though so time is of the essence!
