Passenger side dirty oil leak near wheels, unsure of source

  Clio 172 Cup
On my way home there's been nothing bad, no noises anything.
Near my house are 2 mini roundabouts, went round first fine, went round 2nd and its a tad cambered and made a grinding noise like bottoming out (despite the inch or 2 arch gap..)

I had a look under the car to see if it hit anything or touched anything and found large traces of oil! Have included a few pictures... But the sump is dry, suspension (Eibach) seems ok. The fact it's sprayed up on the arch liner looks like it was one of the rotating components.. Could it be drive shaft as it's the only thing around that area which spins and could create that? I don't actually know how long it's been leaking for as there's a large amount, but nothing was dripping when i checked... But there was no grinding or rumbling when driving.. Will check oil levels tomorrow though.. just in case!

I only checked one side of the rubber, I'm unable to fully rotate to look for splits, would that be the correct colour? As splatter shows it was something spinning

It looks like the cv to me. It goes everywhere when it splits. Mines done it a couple of times

Bit of a sigh of relief that it's not the gearbox or suspension tbh, do you guys reckon it can be sealed or need replacement due to the amount of oil/grease that's escaped?
How much will it cost too?

2 roundabouts in the middle of devizes by any chance? Had a golf destroy a cv joint there a couple of years ago.

Off topic you didn't used to have a blue saxo years ago did you?

Yep 3 blue saxos. The vts had yellow fogs

Also if you mean the roundabouts near green lane that's the one. Second one has a bit of camber if you drive the inside slightly
