WTF

Whilst I make an *rse of most things mechanical my painting is usually top notch.. Have done whole cars in the past. Fixed my split bumper and resprayed. It looked perfect for about 2 days. But this morning it looks like below. Would you say its a reaction with the base coat and clear coat?

Sprayed in my living room. You can do that when you've got no wife. It was ok until I parked it overnight in the rain. Maybe should have wet sanded/ flattened my base coat before putting clear on. Might redo it with different clear coat paint.

It might dry out, I'd leave it for a while and see how it looks in a few weeks.

I think the title is appropriate.
Why not get it done properly?

Lol pisstakers :) .. stop giving me hard time. I've been busy fixing it while u lots been laughing at my first effort. Was concentrating this time! Gotta do some stuff your self on older cars. They would wanna spray the whole bumper at body shop for half the value of the car.

did the clio with can.

Did the triumph with a roller as experiment. but that goes on too lumpy meaning wet sanding inbetween coats and leaving such a thin layer each time I would have to repeat 5 or 6 times so gave up and did final top 2 coats with proper air gun and compressor.

Lol at spraying in the living room! I had a headache spraying calipers on a windy day on the driveway!
