my cars a swimming pool. Where's the Central drainage! Argh

Where the fxck is the central drainage hole? It's got to be this one. The drivers side one is fine, goes straight through, passenger side is fine and not even the tiniest bit wet on the inside. Drivers side...



As you can see I've ripped everything out.

The leak is now from here..



It's the Central drainage hole right? It's not flooded behind the engine it's just got abit of water stuck. So it's the hole?

This is on the 1.4. I've re sealed the sun roof. OTT around 2 weeks ago. It's now this! ARGH!


Can I power wash behind it? Loosen up the debris? Obviously it'll get wet again but I've ripped everything out already

Have you checked the three drainage holes in your scuttle panel?

Also, how did you seal your sunroof? Mine is leaking currently and is giving me grief.

Found the fxcking piece of s**t!



So angry! But triumphant! Gave that ^ a wiggle and everything poured out like a river. Was faffing around fingering in the scuttle for eternity. It was soaking wet too

and @fairm010 i went to my local paint suppliers, bought a tube of silicone "tiger seal" in black. Serious silicone!

Took out the sunroof (ball ache task, 16 bolts) there's video how to's on YouTube.

Auto glymned tar remover on the old perished seal then I went nuts..

Sealed the roof itself.
Sealed the sunroof that came off.
Stuck that back on and screwed back on tight.

Then sealed all around the edge of the fxcking thing. :up:

That ain't gonna leak again for a long long time


But! For people reading. The centre drainage tube literally flapping down behind the engine was pinched against its exit. It's worth checking it now and again, give it a wiggle otherwise your whole drivers side is gonna be a literal deep river fxckibg up everything.
