Got the PAS pump mounted and connected up the hoses, just need to get someone to get power to it for me.

Took a quick picture with the inlet off, would look so good with ITB's!

6 point safety devices cage arrived last week from @markfishy. Nice bit of kit, comes with everything needed.

Hopefully get the plates welded in this weekend, put it in to see what it looks like really liking it :smiley:

Finally sorted an MOT out for this, the decat and pas were giving me some troubles but all good now! Can finally drive it a bit and then book a track day :smiley:.

Also received a roof scoop from Dinger on here, still to fit but finishes the car off nicely and will hopefully keep me cool.

It will look no different fitted properly it's still flush with the roof, it's not the right colour though, but thanks for your kind comments.

As Craig says mate it's just rubber sheet off a role. Does the job for protecting the paint from the car though.

Well the car lasted all of one day, had it out today for its first real blast and it sounds like the bottom ends gone!

Not sure if I'll just throw another engine in or rebuilt this one to a better spec.

Mate that's a kick in the c unt.
All about rebuilding this one mate, a good engine on the bay is like £300-£350 with history, yours would be rebuilt and higher speced and that money can you get decent rebuild items I imagine mate.

100% chuck anything else in, probably wouldn't even bother with the belts or anything. Use that whilst rebuilding this one.

That's s**t man.... Chuck an engine in it just now, get some use out of it and make the rebuild on yours an over the winter project.....

Real shitter as you've put a a lot of time and effort into it :-(.

I think the 2nd engine in and rebuilding yours is the best idea if you what to use it. If not, then I'd rebuild yours.

It's going in to the garage tomorrow for the week as I'm working away. He's going to whip the sump off and see what it's looking like. Fingers crossed It's something simple and save swapping engines over.

Well the engines in pieces, still no sign of the rattle. Change of plans now...

Engine will be getting fully stripped and re-built forged on a low compression ready to have a big dirty turbo bolted on. Spoke to Andy @ clio turbo today so will probably be sourcing most parts from him, still a lot of research to do in terms of spec etc but hoping ill have it all done in a decent amount of time (Said this 1 year ago when i bought the car).

Going to be an expensive few months with this and the 335D arriving 😢

Any info on the PAS setup? My pipes are leaking and I was thinking of doing something similar with a saxo pump. Have you got any pics of the pipes to the pump and rack? Would be mega useful!
