Really nice example mate! Loving the wheels as well! New decals are often overlooked when wheels are refurbed but it really makes a difference!

Like that a lot. I really like the silver turinis and silver side bullets, but the 2118's are just as nice. Do you think the rear bearing was due to the rear spacer or just bad luck? PMS do a nice rear stub axel spacer.

hahaha cheers guys. Na the bearing started to go before spacers etc were done. Hopefully the new shims will sort the slight rubbing issue.
See you Sunday pal:smiley:

Very nice I love LY clios

Did you get a calculated fly power at HQ or does Russ just give wheel power.

  FF LY 182
This is exactly how I wanted my LY to look on the exterior; the bullets, 2118's (minus the decals), spacers and I've been picturing it this last few days, wondering what it would look like. Then your thread pops up!
And I changed the rear shocks, discs, bearings etc only a couple of weeks back! Spooky or just me? Lol

  RS200, LY182, 172cup
haha good taste mate:wink: spooky indeed ! lol
yeah carbon dipped washer blanks are on the list to match bullets

  FF LY 182
haha, turini's were sold a while ago anyway.
What else you got planned for yours ?
Bugger! Lol.
Well I've got the belts to do in this next couple of months, so they're the priority. But the usuals really, ie. recaro's, turini/2118's (in something a bit lighter than anthracite, I like the look of 'Honda Cosmic Grey'), colour coded washer blanks.. We'd be here all day if I listed everything!
I'm starting a thread too soon, so I'll go into more detail then.
Watch this space

Lovely car mate, where in Glasgow are you?

Is it me or does 136bhp seem kind of low for a whp figure...?

I think you loose about 15% through the transmission so I make that at a rough estimate of 156bhp at the flywheel.

I do love the colour of this car

Belts aren't due, were done only last year with all proof. Russ's rollers are notorious for giving low readings, he said its running spot on and for anyone that knows Russ knows he knows his stuff. Having the timing checked at GI when its going in for some work anyway for piece of mind.

Danny based in south side, did I not meet you a while back at a meet at braehead ?

I think that might have been Danny with the Trophy maybe you met?

Aye definitely get the timing checked, if its out you could be 15/20bhp down!

Ah yeah maybe it was then.
Yeah gonna get it checked anyway but as I say his rollers do read low and the car is no slower than any of my pals stock 182's
Good to have it checked anyway though

From what I have seen they do sound to be fairly hard rollers , the black phase 1 with cat cams and bodies only made 159atw.
I will be running my car there next month so be good to see how they compare to the other rollers it's been on.

Yeah wasn't to fussed by the figure as I know they read low was more just to check and make sure it was running as it should.

My 182 made 147 atw at phq, for that run it was induction, rstuner map, milltek exhaust

Yeah that sounds about right. Car is going to GI in Kilmarnock for some bits early next week, they are going to check the timing while its there anyway for piece of mind.

Seen it up at KH on Sunday. Looks the part. Deffo seems low on the power run, mine made 175 @ the fly before mapping. Maybe it is the rollers but you seem short of a few bhp's

Cheers, yeah pretty sure its mostly the rollers as it pulls well. Going to GI for few bits and having timing checked today then track night at kh on Thursday so will see how it gets on

So had a few bits and bobs done to the car before a track day at Knockhill.
-Front ds2500 pads/brembo hc discs.
-brake fluid changed
-induction kit
-modified rear exhaust mount
-spacers removed for now as offside rear was catching slightly
-omp wheel
-modified scenic shifter
-full check over

Ran out of time to have decat, camber bolts/shims, dogbone bushes and timing check done although going back in in the next few days to have that completed and a few other things.
Car performed better than expected on track, ran it with full interior and had a passenger all day and didnt do bad at all. I had my evo on a few months ago and actually had more fun in the clio lol.
Couple snaps from the day
