Bit of an update.

Just spoke to blink about corner weighting. Cost is £50 and £25 to check the geometry, seems cheap,

Corner weighting cost is £50 to adjust is £25. But may go up if time gets on. I mentioned mine has allready been done (geometry) so it's not from a fresh page.

I allways thought it would be like £250-300 not sure why. If I can get Monday off as I need to swap my days anyway, will let you know

Ask how much if they do two cars lol I'll take mine to be done. Group buy haha I couldn't half feel the difference when it was just me in the car compared to when my dad was in the passenger seat.

Mine cost about £125 to adjust height, corner weight, align etc.

The £50 they quoted was just for corner weighting, they didn't really explain the whole process too much over the phone if I'm honest. Did a good job though.

I'm working all day tomorrow so I'll PM you my mobile number now and just text me and let me know what they say. Just hope they don't balls anything up as I'm at Oulton on Tuesday lol even if they can't corner weight mine I will call over and have the tracking/alignment done.

Just to clarify the cost of corner weighting the car (BLiNK Motorsport):

To corner weight the car costs £50 + vat
An alignment check costs £25 + vat
Alignment adjustment is then charged on an hourly rate of £50+vat/hour.
The costs of various cars is different depending on whether the customer has brought their own rear axle shims and this needs doing to front camber bolts etc - on average a car with front camber bolts takes around an hour/hour and a half to geo from fresh so total costs would be:
Corner weight = £50 +vat
Check Geo & adjust =£75-100 +vat
Total = £150-180 inc.
(Please note this is an estimate and it can vary on seized bolts etc.)
Race cars with rear shims to adjust take considerable longer.

Please,Please, please - if you have a problem with the geo we have done then let us know via email or phone - we will do our very best to rectify any problems - your loyalty and word of mouth are paramount to our business.

If you would like the corner weighting fully explained we can do this whilst geo-ing your car.

I hope this helps - drop us an email if you have any questions

Ah cool. I spoke to one of you guys the other day about booking the Clio in, work got in the way. Will be booking in soon though

Fantastic - if you have any questions about the process then please ask whilst it is being done - we do enjoy explaining the procedures to people that show an interest - that way they can make more of an informed decision about the choices.
(It was probably Richard who I think you may have spoken with)
Look forward to seeing you and your car :)

  Track 172 Cup
I went on Monday (about 4pm) had my Clio setup was very helpful and car felt better at Oulton on Tuesday.

  Track 172 Cup
Paid £90 for the hour that was putting on the Hunter aligner to see what was needee and setting up the camber/toe etc on the front and I need shims for the rear as the toe was -10° on the passenger rear and -30° on the driver rear I had it set up to the Track demon setting. Picked their brains and didn't mind answering my questions lol would definitely go back and recommend them. Advised me that due to sharing the car and taking passengers that corner weighting wouldn't be worth it.

Don't agree, if somebody just chucks coilovers on, the weight distribution could/ will be miles out.
I'd like to get it somewhere near to start with tbh.
