Steering doesn't return to centre.

As above fellas. I have power steering but when I go around a corner I have no feedback. The wheel does not return to centre. What do you reckon is this a knackered track?

There is a motor in the column that fails. We had an o4 Clio 1.2 thing in the other week with the exact same problem. Replaced the unit with a good second hand one, cleared codes with a decent scanner (snap on) and jobs a gud un.

What he said^^^ but I'd put her up on a ramp and check the coil springs & CV joints too as Matt suggested

  Many.
172/182's have Hydraulic, not EPAS like the non-sports.

My bet is on top mounts or something bent.

Has it done it the entire time you had the car? or since something? Randomly started?

You never posted an outcome for this thread.Did it just go away, but left you with the steering wobble that is the subject of latest thread?
Bottom ball joint?

Ah righty. This is on a different car. This one was for a mate

It needed a new powersteering rack. It had begun to seize inside possibly due to a lack of powersteering fluid.
