i thought the cup suspension had yellow and white,as that's what mine has.

with that kind of description,i would say bearing or driveshaft gone.

don't go racing anyway mate, prefer the twisty backroads more.don't mind spending £14 once in a while.

ahh sound.i thought the different lengths were between dealer parts and motorfactor parts and thats why you had to go to the dealer only.good to know

yeah i know that part bud.just with them having different part numbers between ph1 and ph2 and I've also read that there is a different hole for the arb bush so all wishbones are the same across the 172 ph1 + ph2 and 182.apart from the cup version??????.

quick answer needed guy's,searched and searched and can't find a definate answer. do ph1 172 wishbones fit a 2005 clio 182 non-cup without any modifications (straight swap)???? cheers if you can help.

had same problem.fixed by disconnecting connector on starter motor and fiddling about with the connector to make it a better fit.not had any problems since.(touch wood ha ha).

had this problem on the 182 mate,found that it was a loose connector on the starter motor,replaced connector and no more problems.AA guy was renault mechanic and said it was a common fault.worth a try.
