So after a good run at the weekend at Santa Pod, the car has decided to stop playing happy families and recover truck was called this morning. It wont start and wont tick over just "clunks" then locks. Think its possibly the starter motor thats gone. It has also developed a gear crunch from 2-3...
Dont worry coolant now all topped up :)
My filter - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390629059729
Pipe - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331657036706
The pipe came within a few days.
Managed to get the "Fatty" induction setup done this weekend. Great setup and well worth the pennies! also fitted some neochrome washers which make it look bit nicer :)
Next up is handling. Need to get an ARB and strut brace
My xenon bulb blew this morning and I need to change it but have no ideas which brand to get. I was looking at ARC-8 from HIDS4U but until now I havent heard of them.
I just want a standard replacement bulb, nothing fancy or expensive.
It has a neck. So in essence I need two number 70mm dia ally joiners and that will fit perfect to the existing plastic intake hose that goes into the engine and then one that then goes into the new filter
Guys I have really struggled to get the kit to fit. I went for a 70mm silicone hose rather than the solid one Fatty uses and the hose just won't fit to the existing bend and to the ramair filter. Has anyone experienced this issue?
With the help of a friend. It was pretty easy and I was advised to remove all the rear trim but we actually didnt need to as it fitted straight past the speakers.
Thanks Sam but I prefer the Turinis, the F1 feel too heavy and the car doesnt appear to handle as well. Need to get some new track tyres for the Turinis
