Thread bump but RenaultParts Direct are now showing these as out of stock.... I found someone on eBay selling genuine badges for £30 each. This is the THIRD time I've had to replace mine now because one of the numbers fell off when I knocked it with my wash-mitt when cleaning the car.
They are...
UPDATE: I bought these and found them a really bad fit. The bottom doesn’t wrap around the base of the seat properly and the material is thin so I sent them back.
I have bought these for double the price and they fit much better plus have a more durable material...
The owner of this Clio 200 is an older gentleman who lives in Maisemore. He also owns an E46 M3 and an old left-handed rally car! I parked next to him in Tesco once in my 172 CUP and luckily he was walking back to his car just as I was parking up so we had a chat. The Clio 200 is his daily.
I think you can buy the slats/individual bits separately instead of replacing a whole vent.
For me, a couple of my slats had pulled out from attaching a phone mount + weight of my iPhone. They weren’t actually broken, I just needed to put them back in which is a really fiddly job lining it all...
Thread revival but the guide posted here was perfectly helpful for accessing the centre air vents in ordered to replace a broken vent slat.
Many thanks!
Hi all,
To provide some help and guidance out there to owners who need to replace their 172 CUP windscreen, I have just been through this process (due to a crack) and it is not straight forward in terms of making sure the right one is fitted.
If you provide your registration and chassis...
Alcantara and £180 all in.
Considering these wheels cost anywhere from £200-350 depending on condition, I thought it was worth doing and now looks brand new.
To update this, I called my RAC in the end. Problem solved... he found a dodgy relay connection in the engine fuse box. He pulled it out, cleaned the connectors and the engine started first time.... all good now
Just tried that, loads of fuel spurting out when turning the key. This is a nightmare.... everything appears to be working but still won't start unless for some reason the new crank sensor is dodgy. Think I'm gonna have to get the garage involved.
Update. I cleaned the original crank shaft sensor and it made no difference. I ordered a new crank shaft sensor and fitted that.... no difference.
Can someone explain to a novice the best way of checking for spark and fuel?
