so got home ,removed the graphics on the windscreen and resprayed the wing mirrors.
also got the car booked in to have a middle box and a cat fitted which brought the volume down thankfully not to much.
My wife and I went over to collect the car then drove down to the lake district to see friends when we where over.
Which is when I realised that there was no middle silencer or cat fitted , just a straight pipe and a custom back box.
loud is not even the word for this thing it was just nuts.

Just off the phone with them and they knew straight away however they seem to be obsolete from Renault

Has any one had to source the valve guides for a cylinder head rebuild?
I have tried a few Renault dealers and they can't even get me a part number never mind a price.
I had this same issue with mine, only I left it until it got so bad the car failed to start at all.
If you open the fuse/relay box in the engine bay and check the relays spade connectors for corrosion clean them up and refit also below where the relay sit should be a big white multi pin...
