Balls, scrap that. The problem has reappeared. I confidently put the relays back thinking “I’ll work out which one is at fault” and the gremlin resurfaced. Reading that thread again I don’t think it’s anything to do with the 3 relays I mentioned?

ive been thinking whilst driving my car around.... could that second stage on the throttle for over riding the speed limiter be rejiggled so that it engages the vvt? it obviously sends a signal to the ecu, im just thinking that it could then give an increase increase in power under hard...

no no no! a series turbo is the way forward, mine is popping out 188 banannas @14psi, but it does run 18psi....
