After getting an advisory on my rear spring for my 182 FF at MOT, and being told its £80 for a replacement.
With most of you saying I'd be better getting lowering springs.
What is the difference to the cup suspension when lowering springs are fitted. I don't want to lower it much if it can be...
its only an advisory. they said since its still held when jacked up its a pass.
Whats the deal with the apex springs or the eibach ones.
are the a stiffer spring, shorter etc?

I think my top strut mount is done in. I've been looking for the parts after the dealers gave me a price of about £55 with the new spacer plus vat.

The question I would like answered is are all the clio mounts the same i.e. 182 the same as 1.2 etc?

from £418.70 to £701 for a 1.01% increase. its nice that is. only got that exhaust so it would last longer as it came with a lifetime guarantee for £80 more than a mild steel replacement.
So all in If I had just got mild steel and let it to rust and got a new one i would have been better off...

I've got a quote from direct line but they want to know how much of a performance increase my cat back stainless miltek will produce before giving me a quote.

I have had my car for sale for £3500 before dropping to £3300 then to £3000. From that experience alone I would say you'll struggle to get £4000.
